Visiting Aspen or other mountain towns in the late fall is a risky move. Lots of places are closed until winter - it's hard to know which ones until you arrive or call. Locals know this..some out of towners may not. Pros Super friendly staff - they help you with everything, restaurant recommendations, directions, coffee, hiking - staff is probably... More

We have stayed at the Grand Aspen Hyatt four or five different weeks and love it there. Frankly, I can't understand the criticism in some recent reviews. The service we received was consistently outstanding. This is the perfect home base for day trips to the Maroon Bells, Independence Pass, Crested Butte, and other beautiful fall destinations. The assistant front desk... More

Every part of the stay was perfect. From the valets, front desk staff, housekeeping up to Vic, the general manager. They wanted your stay to be perfect. The room was spacious and VERY clean. Bathroom was huge! We used the hot tub and it was very relaxing. The location was excellent for what we wanted to do. By the way,... More

The Hyatt Grand Aspen is a well managed, well run, first rate experience. The staff anticipates your needs and will go out of their way to make your stay a first rate experience. The housekeeping staff provides twice a day service...once to clean during the day and turn down service in the evening. The property is extremely well maintained. You... More

Wonderful hotel for staying in Aspen. Great locations and almost all restaurants are walkable from the hotel. Great staff and very helpful and friendly. Great complementary breakfast but only one toaster so an unfortunate line occurs at busy times which can be solved with another toaster. Have staff there several times and would never consider another property. Also very quiet... More

We chose this hotel because we are passport members and like to accumulate points. This hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean, spacious, beautiful views and the location is great. But I want to warn people that aren't familiar with this type of hotel because I didn't know these things and it may be helpful to some. There is no food... More

Our family traveled to Aspen with high hopes that Hyatt would deliver yet again a spectacular stay. Unfortunately and surprisingly not the case. The hotel is located in a prime location close to everything in town. Most of the staff was not friendly as in other Hyatt properties we have visited. Especially the front desk. The concierge was helpful but... More

This beautiful hotel is so convenient to the best restaurants, venues, hiking trails, and public buses...which are free for those over 65. The staff is very helpful and professional. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable ....the pool and outside fire pit areas are beautiful.

The place is very clean and the accomodations are very comfortable. The staff however needs to improve exponentially if they are to adequately represent the Hyatt name and the prices paid to stay there. Starting with the front desk staff. Their attitude is as if they were doing you a favor rather than greeting you in a friendly fashion on... More

I had a surprisingly poor stay. Hotel is in excellent location in Aspen but is considerably overpriced for the quality of services and amenities. I checked in late (after 10pm) and asked the receptionist where I could eat and she was surprisingly clueless. In the end suggested McDonald's. I needed shaving materials during my stay and receptionist couldn't find someone... More
