I stayed at the Durant Condo (room 102A) with a friend who was freelancing for the 2007 X-Games and I was along for the ride. This means, I have no idea the cost of this great accommodation... and my review doesn't consider any price/value comparison.
This was my first time in Aspen, which is very upscale, so I may be a little bit on the overwhelmed side... basically, all I'm trying to say is... The Durant Condos are very nice, however, if you compare it to the $15 million ski getaways scattered throughout the base of the mountains, it is a shack.
Location:
Great. A 2 minute walk to the village and free shuttles. A 5 minute walk to lift tickets and gondola of Aspen Mountain. No real need to rent a car when staying here.
