The lodge provides comfortable accommodation with friendly staff and breakfast included in the room rate. Easy walk to restaurants and bars, and a 10 minute walk to ski shuttles and gondola. Large room if you choose a corner suite, very low lighting in rooms.

Management and staff is very friendly, courteous, accomodating and helpful. As others have shared, furniture and facility are old and in need of some TLC but at least it was reasonably clean with the exception of the layer of dust on the wardrobe. Compared to the mainstream hotels, they serve one of the best continental breakfasts I've had anywhere, usually... More

Certainly not the highest end property in Aspen, but priced like it is. It's all about limited supply and high demand. This property has thin walls and lots of banging and noise can be heard from within the rooms. But it's located in a quiet part of town and it's walkable into town. The rooms have rather old furniture, tired... More

I was offered a good deal because of workshop I was attending, and overall had a very good experience. The staff were all very helpful and I appreciated the pickup and drop off to the airport. As someone who cares about the environment, I would have liked the option of not having my towels replaced every day when staying for... More

This was my fourth year returning to The Mountain Lodge. This year it had undergone new management. The staff, as usual, was very hospitable. An added bonus was that the hotel now shares a car service with two other managed properties. So airport transports were available, and even a ride to dinner restaurants if the car wasn't committed to the... More

I stayed here because of a cancelled flight and was grateful to get a room in aspen that provides airport shuttle. I may have just been upset about my flight situation but I was not happy. It was over 250.00 that night and I felt like I was staying in a friends' grandma's basement or something like that. There wasn't... More

I have a mixed feelings about this hotel. It was one of the last properties available during the Christmas holidays and I was grateful to get a room. It was however pricey during this high season for disappointing accommodations. We had two rooms, each with their own issues. The rooms are generally tired (new carpet and drapes would do wonders),... More

I recently stayed there with my bf last week. The staff was really nice and helpful. The location was actually perfect. It was a few blocks away from downtown and a quite nice area. They serve complimentary breakfast. It was OK. Regular continental breakfast. Eggs were watery and the fruit was rotten. But hey it's free I guess. We stayed... More

It's within walking distance of ski area and downtown. We didn't have a tv remote and the tv lost cable signal. They resolved both issues quickly. They also has a pool table in the basement. The only thing that we didn't like is that the room is not very sound approved, so we could hear others close their doors.

We had a lovely top floor king corner room (522) with balcony and south west mountain view of the lovely aspens during fall colors. The quiet downtown tree lined residential street is in convenient walking distance to everything. The front staff were warm and welcoming- especially Linda who recommended several dinner options and a fabulous walk along the creek to... More
