I stayed here because of a cancelled flight and was grateful to get a room in aspen that provides airport shuttle. I may have just been upset about my flight situation but I was not happy. It was over 250.00 that night and I felt like I was staying in a friends' grandma's basement or something like that. There wasn't... More

I have a mixed feelings about this hotel. It was one of the last properties available during the Christmas holidays and I was grateful to get a room. It was however pricey during this high season for disappointing accommodations. We had two rooms, each with their own issues. The rooms are generally tired (new carpet and drapes would do wonders),... More

I recently stayed there with my bf last week. The staff was really nice and helpful. The location was actually perfect. It was a few blocks away from downtown and a quite nice area. They serve complimentary breakfast. It was OK. Regular continental breakfast. Eggs were watery and the fruit was rotten. But hey it's free I guess. We stayed... More

It's within walking distance of ski area and downtown. We didn't have a tv remote and the tv lost cable signal. They resolved both issues quickly. They also has a pool table in the basement. The only thing that we didn't like is that the room is not very sound approved, so we could hear others close their doors.

We had a lovely top floor king corner room (522) with balcony and south west mountain view of the lovely aspens during fall colors. The quiet downtown tree lined residential street is in convenient walking distance to everything. The front staff were warm and welcoming- especially Linda who recommended several dinner options and a fabulous walk along the creek to... More

This B&B is located in a quiet neighborhood but with an easy walk to the center of town. The drapes and curtains are tired but clean. There is no air conditioning but they provided a fan. Breakfast has fruit, coffee, cereal tea, and pancakes and eggs. It was perfect. The place could use some remodeling and updating but the staff was very... More

My husband and I have been staying at the Mt. House Lodge for 15 years; we usually come at the end of September to see the glorious fall colors and hike some of the wonderful nearby trails. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant; they will go out of their way to help you plan your visit if you're... More

Its a good location - a few blocks from the traffic and shopping, but of course within easy walking distance of everything "downtown". The rooms are comfortable, but I would have liked more lighting (it was impossible to read at at night). Parking is easy - right out front, no problem. Breakfast was pretty complete for a continental breakfast (yogurt,... More

Very noisy lodge. People in hot tub at midnight. Doors slamming closed all night. People yelling at all hours. The first night we pull down the covers to get into bed and notice BLOOD STAINS all over the sheet. There is no clock, no glassware, and no air conditioning in the room. Room was 86 degrees when we first entered.... More

I recently stayed at the mountain house lodge with my wife. When we arrived, the friendly staff at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and gave us a quick tour of Aspen using a thorough map and also gave us pointers on what to do during our stay. The rooms are super comfortable. I read a lot of... More
