This property is a disaster. Stayed 2 nights. Would never return nor recommend to anyone. Very much past due for major renovations. Being in a depressed area, as Antonito is, I doubt the owners will invest in updating needed renovations. Breakfast ? Another disaster. All carbohydrates, no protein and the only thing hot was bad coffee. Many defects in accommodations... More

We camped 2 nights in our travel trailer. They have a few RV sites behind the hotel. I can tell a big change for the positive since the new owners took over. The first site we pulled into had functioning water, electric and sewer, and the sites were not overgrown with weeds unlike our first experience 3 years ago. $18... More

This motel was very clean and offered all the amenities we were looking for: free wi-fi and breakfast. For the money, it was just perfect and within walking distance to the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad, which was a fabulous train trip we took. The motel staff were very friendly and helpful. Yes, it is a bit outdated, but that didn't... More

This is a lonely hotel that is close to the main attraction of the town, which is the railroad excursion. The train ride would be the best, and only, reason to stay at this hotel, tumble weeds in the parking lot and all. We stayed for one night and experienced no problems. The room was as described in the reservation... More

We stayed at the Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn on June 15,2014 , this is an older motel that has new owners and management and that is the reason I gave it a 4 , the motel is a little outdated but that seems to be a work in progress , Our room was clean and freshly painted , the managers... More

The motel room was very basic, but clean. It was adequate for our short stay. The room and bathroom are both very small. The motel advertised DirectTV, however, it was not available. Antonito is very small, with little to do, so we were looking forward to that. There are very few outlets, and that was a little bit of a... More

This is an older property and it looks right out of the 70's. the lobby smelled of smoke and wasn't appealing. The room was clean but that was it. Decor from the 70s and well used. Shower was temperamental and took a lot of tweaking to get the temperature right. Bed was lumpy and not that great. There aren't a... More

This is an "older motel" and it lacks many amenities of newer places, such as a coffee pot, clock radio, tall shower and more electric outlets. However, it was clean and worked for my needs of a two night stay. The most important item for this particular place, was the location next to the C&T SRR and the fact I... More

I find it interesting that my first review was deleted....I found this place pretty terrible. Mainly because of the noise. It is overpriced for what it is but the owners are nice. The terrible thing is the all night parties of other guests, the music from the bar next door and the outrageous humming from the tractor trailers parked around... More

We spent one night here as we were traveling through the area. We made a reservation and the price we were originally quoted was not the price we were charged when we arrived. The accommodations are dated at best. The carpet was filthy to the point we wouldn't walk on it barefooted. It also had burns in the carpet. One... More
