We had a family reunion with 25+ people, so had the entire place to ourselves. The cabins were clean and nicely decorated (LOTS of moose!! :) ). Although the location is right on the highway to Estes Park, we had no disturbing traffic noise. The kitchen/dining/lodge area was just the right size for our group. Everything we needed was provided....... More

Can't imagine better hosts for the Everything Outlander weekend. It was wonderful. The attention to detail in the theme, facilities, and activities was great. I look forward to going back and just relaxing in one of the adorable cabins.

I have now been to the Lodge twice. It is a beautiful setting. Rustic and homey. The hosts, Cat and Cory go the extra mile to make all feel welcome and at home. I was there for a themed retreat and Cat really went all out to decorate the Big House with themed items to bring the place alive.

I just spent 4 nights here with my sister in our own cabin. We were there for a retreat with 20 or so other women. Sis and I loved this rustic home away from home in the mountains. Cat and Corey were wonderful hosts...quiet and laid back and always there for us when a need arose. The cabins were clean... More

So much more than I expected. Booked for retreat in September with a bunch of Outlander fans and Cat and Cory made the visit great from food to fun activities. Easy to find and a short drive to Estes Park. Our cabin would have d slept 6 with sleeper couch. Full kitchen and nice bathroom.

Stayed here with a group. We had entire lodge. Corey and Cat are amazing and the food! Omg soooo good and healthy. They work with dietary need and every dish felt gourmet cant say enough good things. Ive been thinking about the meals since I left. Lodge is very homey and comfortable. Only 20 minutes to estes park.

I cannot say enough great words about our recent stay at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge. First of all the location was fantastic. Close to trails, creeks, scenery, four wheeling adventures. A beautiful drive from the cute little town of Estes park up the mountain and to the cabins. Cat and Cory were very friendly, gave us some trail advice, and... More

We had our family group here and used Cabins 4, 5 & 6. Cabins are older (the floor in the dining room in 5 has a noticeable tilt) but well maintained. Cabin 5 had enough room for all of us to gather for meals and conversation. Bathrooms are tiny (especially #4) but workable. Beds were comfortable. Kids enjoyed the swingset... More

I just facilitated a women's retreat at Sunshine Mountain Lodge and can't recommend it highly enough! Corey and Cat were above and beyond accommodating. They were wonderful to work with, respectful of our privacy, yet there whenever we needed anything. Cat's cooking was absolutely scrumptious even with all our special diets. Many of the beds were new and all were... More

We're a group of 30-40 family members that gathers every year in a different scenic locale. Sunshine Mountain worked great for us as we were able to rent the entire place, which included the large lodge where we could both prepare and gather for dinner each night, then make music inside and out without disturbing anyone else. Corey and Kathy... More
