Bill and Juanita make their lodge your home away from home. The craftsmanship of the lodge is amazing( We loved the banister). Breakfast was delicious and the apartment was very cozy. We tend to choose different locations and vendors when we travel but we would return here in a heartbeat. It's also nice that stables for trail rides are right... More

Allenspark is situated it a small hamlet near Rockey Mountain National Park. Built in the 1930's of logs/wood, it everything you might expect of an old-school lodge. The common area is warm and inviting. Some of the rooms are small by today's standards, but if it's a Hamton Inn experience you want, go elsewhere! Thankfully children under 14 not allowed.... More

This is a long time in coming because I was not a TA reviewer back then. I cannot begin to tell what a remarkable gem this place is. Bill and Juanita who own and operate this lodge are one of kind! This is there home, yet it is there passion to make you feel wonderful there. My wife, son and... More

A couple of friends and I spend a weekend in The Apartment. Rustic, yet with every creature comfort we needed. EXCELLENT food, and Bill and Juanita were perfect hosts. Their flexibility to a few special needs made all the difference in our experience. Thanks and we will return!

Run by a charming, hard working couple, that take great pride in the running of the lodge and making people feel at home. Rooms are a bit small but quite cozy. A great get away high in the beautiful mountains away from all the hustle and bustle of Estes Park and just a short drive from Rocky Mountain National Park. Did I... More

This lodge has the appearance of being well lived in. The owners call this place their home. I particularly don't mind the slightly unkempt appearance, it just reminds me of how many people have enjoyed this place before me. Also, the lodge is old. If you can't handle a little dust, go stay in Estes Park at the Super 8... More

Great place to stay! The owners obviously take pride in their place- lots of great places in the lodge area to sit and read- fresh coffee and tea, cookies always available. Rooms very quaint, cozy and clean- A 'one of a kind' place- would definitely go back!

My husband and I have stayed here 2 years in a row. It is a fabulous experience to stay in a 1933 log lodge. To wake up in the morning to a beautiful sunrise, horses in a stable and the smell of a great breakfast being prepared for you. Can't say enough about the breakfast. A wonderfully quiet retreat with... More

Charming old lodge with lots of character. Some of the rooms share a bath, we had a small room with two beds and a separate bath with a tub and toilet on the second floor. The rooms are and shared bath facilities are very clean. There are several cozy sitting areas with arm chairs and sofas on the first floor... More
