This was our second trip to Allenspark. I have met few people who are as grounded and hospitable as Bill and Juanita. I am reluctant to recommend this place because more people will wish to stay there and then we will have trouble getting the reservation time we want. Go if you can. Do nothing while there. Just relax. Think... More

This was our 5th year going to the Allenspark Lodge for a crafting weekend. The building itself is very rustic and homey feeling. The hosts, Bill & Juanita are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Bill is always good for s laugh. Breakfast and dinner were provided because our group booked the entire lodge. Everything they make... More

Thank you Bill and Juanita! Allenspark is a cozy little place, and the Lodge is the perfect place to relax. This is where you go to "get away from it all", but they do have a shared television with a large (400+) DVD library, and you can access the Internet through your devices, but don't plan on bringing your phone... We drove into what appeared to be a deserted town. The fog didn't help lift our spirits. What had we gotten ourselves into? Then we met Juanita and Bill. Then the sun came out! Then we had breakfast! .Then, we hiked! This is a great place to come, relax, hike the Rocky Mountains and get some fantastic breakfasts and stories.... More

My wife and I just spent three weeks at Allenspark Lodge. What a great place. This is our fourth year that we have visited. Each year is just as pleasant and relaxing as the one before. The hosts, Bill and Juanita Martin and Reba ,The Lodge Dog, are very friendly and accommodating. They all greet you when you come in... More

Bill and Juanita pulled out all the stops for my husband and I, and my family, for a big family reunion. The breakfasts were to die for. The rooms were just what I expected in the old cabin, comfortable and rustic. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

I don't get the other raving reviews! My husband and I travel a lot. We stay in B & Bs, fancy hotels, interstate inns and motels of all prices and levels across the U.S., Canada and Europe. Okay, here's the positives of this "rustic lodge": the breakfast was well presented and very good. It was mostly carbs with little fruit... More

Accommodations were adequate. We had room #1 which was very small, with not enough room to open 2 suitcases. Also room was dark. Lodge area was very nice and quite "homey" The breakfast was fantastic. The proprietors were very hospitable. Allenspark is quite a drive from Rocky Mountain Park, and has no services other than the Lodge. If you plan... More

If you are looking for a quiet get a way in the beautiful Colorado Rockies, located close to hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park, Allenspark Lodge fits the bill. An absolutely gorgeous log cabin-type building filled with rustic charm, it provides that home away from home feeling not found in conventional hotels or large inns. The rooms are large... More

A quirky B & B. Nearly 100 years old with real character, owned and run by Bill and Juanita. A warm welcome and excellent "family style" breakfasts served at 8:00am Mon-Fri, 9:00am Sat/Sun. Several communal bathrooms with showers, although our room had a private bath with claw foot tub. Very quiet location opposite riding stables. No TV or cell phone... More
