I don't get the other raving reviews! My husband and I travel a lot. We stay in B & Bs, fancy hotels, interstate inns and motels of all prices and levels across the U.S., Canada and Europe. Okay, here's the positives of this "rustic lodge": the breakfast was well presented and very good. It was mostly carbs with little fruit... More

Accommodations were adequate. We had room #1 which was very small, with not enough room to open 2 suitcases. Also room was dark. Lodge area was very nice and quite "homey" The breakfast was fantastic. The proprietors were very hospitable. Allenspark is quite a drive from Rocky Mountain Park, and has no services other than the Lodge. If you plan... More

If you are looking for a quiet get a way in the beautiful Colorado Rockies, located close to hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park, Allenspark Lodge fits the bill. An absolutely gorgeous log cabin-type building filled with rustic charm, it provides that home away from home feeling not found in conventional hotels or large inns. The rooms are large... More

A quirky B & B. Nearly 100 years old with real character, owned and run by Bill and Juanita. A warm welcome and excellent "family style" breakfasts served at 8:00am Mon-Fri, 9:00am Sat/Sun. Several communal bathrooms with showers, although our room had a private bath with claw foot tub. Very quiet location opposite riding stables. No TV or cell phone... More

We stayed here and loved it. The Lodge is owned by Juanita and Bill and they are gracious hosts. Perfect place to get back in touch with nature . No internet and cell phones here. The breakfast was top notch . Homemade everything. You will love it. The crown jewel is to sit atop their balcony and watch the hummingbirds.... More

Bill and Juanita make their lodge your home away from home. The craftsmanship of the lodge is amazing( We loved the banister). Breakfast was delicious and the apartment was very cozy. We tend to choose different locations and vendors when we travel but we would return here in a heartbeat. It's also nice that stables for trail rides are right... More

Allenspark is situated it a small hamlet near Rockey Mountain National Park. Built in the 1930's of logs/wood, it everything you might expect of an old-school lodge. The common area is warm and inviting. Some of the rooms are small by today's standards, but if it's a Hamton Inn experience you want, go elsewhere! Thankfully children under 14 not allowed.... More

This is a long time in coming because I was not a TA reviewer back then. I cannot begin to tell what a remarkable gem this place is. Bill and Juanita who own and operate this lodge are one of kind! This is there home, yet it is there passion to make you feel wonderful there. My wife, son and... More

A couple of friends and I spend a weekend in The Apartment. Rustic, yet with every creature comfort we needed. EXCELLENT food, and Bill and Juanita were perfect hosts. Their flexibility to a few special needs made all the difference in our experience. Thanks and we will return!

Run by a charming, hard working couple, that take great pride in the running of the lodge and making people feel at home. Rooms are a bit small but quite cozy. A great get away high in the beautiful mountains away from all the hustle and bustle of Estes Park and just a short drive from Rocky Mountain National Park. Did I... More
