Our stay at the Avila Village Inn was comfortable and quiet. Our room was small and cozy and the deep soaking tub was fantastic. The fireplace added to the overall ambience. The young woman who checked us in was polite, accommodating, and friendly. Great service! The location is a bit strange--it's located next to a tennis club in what seemed... More

The inn reminded me of something from Jackson Hole, WY but nestled amongst the trees just a little over a miles walk away from the Caliornia beaches. The room was cozy. Bed was very comfy. Not too soft, not too hard, juuuuust right! Snuggly pillows. Fireplace in the room to keep you warm. Private hot tub out on our patio.... More

We loved the suite with the hot tub on the patio, 2 fireplaces, 2 flat screens, excellent wi-fi and a separate bedroom. The inn is beautiful as well as the grounds. I agree with other reviews that the breakfast is pretty spartan but the Woodstone market serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a very diverse menu (although not included in... More

We stayed at the Avila Village Inn in November, 2014. We selected the Inn because they have two "dog friendly" rooms and we were traveling with our dog. The Inn is fairly new - probably not more than five or so years old - so everything is modern in the rooms. The bathroom was large. It had one of those... More

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel and we have fallen in love with it. The rooms are a great size, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is huge and well designed and the hot tub on the balcony is divine. The fireplace also added some nice ambiance. The staff is welcoming and the morning... More

Several things. No help with luggage. Hard to find with multiple use entrance on main road. Several parties in our group had this problem. Lights in room were exceptionally dark. Unusual room shape was small. Breakfast was less than days in. While coffee milk n juice was okay, rolls were substandard and no hot food. Trash outside entrance of place... More

Not only was this hotel one of our favourite hotels of our honeymoon tour but one of our favourite we've ever stayed in. The room was amazing! Spacious, lovely design and a lovely the balcony jacuzzi! The free hot drinks was a nice touch and the breakfast was great in the morning.

Very nice Hotel set in the hills above Avila Beach. The rooms was nicely furnished with a fireplace, extremely nice bath room, king bed and a wet bar. There was a hot tub on the balcony which was nice and private. The property is set well back from the road so there is very little noise. Staff we very pleasant,... More

We were here last weekend for SLO "move in" - we decided to try this place as opposed to paying $500+ per night at the place we stayed last time. We had a luxury king room with outside jacuzzi - it was excellent! the room was a perfect size with nice fireplace in the room, very clean & comfortable, well... More

Stayed here for one night Sept 2014. Really roomy and very charming. The room was almost like an apartment - never had a foyer in my room - there was a closet and the bathroom off of it. I've never stayed in a place that had Mission-style/Arts and Crafts furnishings/fixtures. Added much charm. We were upgraded to a room with... More
