We were here last weekend for SLO "move in" - we decided to try this place as opposed to paying $500+ per night at the place we stayed last time. We had a luxury king room with outside jacuzzi - it was excellent! the room was a perfect size with nice fireplace in the room, very clean & comfortable, well... More

Stayed here for one night Sept 2014. Really roomy and very charming. The room was almost like an apartment - never had a foyer in my room - there was a closet and the bathroom off of it. I've never stayed in a place that had Mission-style/Arts and Crafts furnishings/fixtures. Added much charm. We were upgraded to a room with... More

The Avila Village Inn is a surprise place to experience because it is somewhat out of the way or off the regular places to stay, but has a nice room with all the necessary amenities. There are outside private hot tubs or simply a Jacuzzi style tub in you room. I did have to be careful in the bathroom tub... More

We were greeted by a friendly and humoring man at the desk! With warm cookies to keep us busy ;). There was a small snafu with their system and our reservation and without us even asking, he upgraded our room at no charge. The rooms are beautifully decorated and we had one with a hot tub on the patio -... More

We arrived on labor Day just when the crowds were leaving. We had no problem finding the location. Others have mentioned that it was difficult to find. It is located near the back end o the resort complex when turning into the Laurel bay Place. The entrance was grand and we felt encouraged that this hotel would suit our needs.... More

This hotel is our "go-to" for our anniversary for the past 3 years. we usually choose something waterfront whenever we take a beach vacation, but I would never choose anyplace else to stay in Avila. The rooms are beautiful, you are a couple miles from the beach, but it is a lovely ride into town on the bike trail, bikes... More

We recently returned from a short vacation at Avila Beach. We are ready to go back! We stayed at the Avila Village Inn and it was fantastic! Craftsman Lodge tucked among trees beside a creek that runs out to the Pacific Ocean. The rooms are quiet, private and well appointed for your comfort. Even though you would think of a... More

We stayed here for one night ( we wish it had been more) on our way from San Francisco to San Diego. It was fantastic. Hot tub was amazing ! In room DVD player, with DVDs to use at the hotel front desk, comfortable bed, takeaway available in the room. Absolutely loved it, just wish we could have stayed longer... More

Was a nice place to stay; the wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary while there and made some good memories. We plan to return as it is close to the beach and not to far from Pismo Beach, Cambria, Hearst Castle and other places we enjoy. The place is surrounded by trees so there are plenty of birds chirping... More
