I stayed at the AVI for 2 nites to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area. It was my first time staying here and I loved it! The hotel is very cozy and the room was the right size. I didn't reserve a room with the tub on the patio, but I still enjoyed the fireplace,... More

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. Room we stayed is extremely clean and quiet. We love its room decoration such as paintings and furniture. Bathroom is very large with good shampoo and soap. We love their breakfast, it has coffee, hot tea, boiled eggs, bagels and fruits. This... More

We stayed on night and Avila Village Inn. We don't live but 1-2 hours from Avila Beach but just needed a night away. The room was great, enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tup on the patio. All the staff were great and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning hit the spot after a quick work out in the gym... More

Really nice Inn. Not too big or too small. The room was very nice and spacious and the fireplace was a great feature. Our room was near where breakfast was served, but I had no complaints on noise. Only a couple minutes from the beach and ten minutes from San Luis Obispo.

Our stay at the Avila Village Inn was comfortable and quiet. Our room was small and cozy and the deep soaking tub was fantastic. The fireplace added to the overall ambience. The young woman who checked us in was polite, accommodating, and friendly. Great service! The location is a bit strange--it's located next to a tennis club in what seemed... More

The inn reminded me of something from Jackson Hole, WY but nestled amongst the trees just a little over a miles walk away from the Caliornia beaches. The room was cozy. Bed was very comfy. Not too soft, not too hard, juuuuust right! Snuggly pillows. Fireplace in the room to keep you warm. Private hot tub out on our patio.... More

We loved the suite with the hot tub on the patio, 2 fireplaces, 2 flat screens, excellent wi-fi and a separate bedroom. The inn is beautiful as well as the grounds. I agree with other reviews that the breakfast is pretty spartan but the Woodstone market serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a very diverse menu (although not included in... More

We stayed at the Avila Village Inn in November, 2014. We selected the Inn because they have two "dog friendly" rooms and we were traveling with our dog. The Inn is fairly new - probably not more than five or so years old - so everything is modern in the rooms. The bathroom was large. It had one of those... More

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel and we have fallen in love with it. The rooms are a great size, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is huge and well designed and the hot tub on the balcony is divine. The fireplace also added some nice ambiance. The staff is welcoming and the morning... More

Several things. No help with luggage. Hard to find with multiple use entrance on main road. Several parties in our group had this problem. Lights in room were exceptionally dark. Unusual room shape was small. Breakfast was less than days in. While coffee milk n juice was okay, rolls were substandard and no hot food. Trash outside entrance of place... More
