Horrible, horrible experience. As if the urine smell in our room wasn't bad enough, the hotel ruined a private party we'd planned there. The general manager didn't deliver on promises made, then got hostile with members of our party and called the police. PLEASE don't give these people your business. more

We stayed for only one night ( thankfully). Property was advertised as Suites.....not even close. Also advertised as a resort???????? Where? The pool was no larger than something you would find in someones back yard . Very small rooms that need serious updating and a thorough cleaning. We booked our stay through Travelocity. The hotel had no record of the reservation... turned out Travelocity had made an error. Even though the hotel was full, they scrambled to make arrangements and were able to get a room for us. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the process. more

When booking two rooms at the Catalina Canyon we were expecting a resort hotel like it promised. Arriving, we saw that this was not the case. The rooms were small & not updated except for the granite in the bathroom. The pool was overcrowded with not any room to lay or even just sit. There are only about 10 lounge... more

Shuttle service is great, front desk was very helpful but this is where the good ended. Room was very dark and dingy, and the carpet dirty with stains (lower level rooms are allowed to have pets, so my guess is these stains are from incontinent dogs). For what they charge in the summer ($260) a night it's not great value... more

The Catalina Canyon Resort and Spa is a tremendous value. My wife and I stayed there for three weeknights in June. The room we had was basic, with a comfortable bed, two chairs and cable tv.
