This was our first trip to Avlon during the summer, we normally go in the fall. Just as wonderful as the first time. Krista and Kathleen really make you feel right at home. We stayed in the Wicker Room this time. It was small but very very quite. It was in the low 80's during this trip and the four... More

I chose it, frankly, everything else was booked and very expensive. But it worked out perfectly. It is an old house which has been a small inn for many years. Rooms are small, good light, fans, good shower, comfortable bed, good free wifi. There is a full breakfast at 9 and happy hour in the afternoon. Everyone is friendly and... More

The Old Turner Inn is centrally located, easy walking distance all around Avalon. The breakfasts are wonderful, and provide great fuel for your activities on the island. We stayed in the King Suite which has an air-conditioned enclosed porch adjacent to the nicely appointed room. On fine days you can open the windows and enjoy the sea breezes, and the... More

Christa was the innkeeper when we arrived in catalina. She was a the epitome of a gracious hostess. Even before arriving she gave us useful info on the area and on travel discounts. We arrived before check in but she welcomed us early and we were able to leave off our luggage to begin our vacation. Her breakfasts were wonderful... More

My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed at the Old Turner Inn last Wed and Thursday. We all agreed that it was a great place. The rooms were clean and the beds were 1st rate. Breakfast was good and the evening wine & appetizers allowed us to relax and meet the other guests. The location was an easy... More

My husband and I spent our anniversary at the Old Turner Inn. We enjoyed it so much we will stay again. It was our first trip to Catalina. We stayed in the smallest of their rooms, the wicker room. It was not too small. It was just right. The bed was comfortable, good closet space, television with DVD player with... More

I volunteer for the Catalina Island Conservancy and we had are annual Conservancy Volunteer Appreciation Dinner last night (06/13/2014) and I stayed overnight on the Island at the Old Turner Inn for my second time. The Inn Keeper could not have been any nicer, I rate her as a A++ The Breakfast Quiche that she cooked this morning would rival... More

We spent two nights at The Old Turner Inn and enjoyed everything about it. The room as clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was less than two blocks from the beach and pier which works out perfectly as it is nice and quite at night. Kathleen and Christa were very friendly and cooked the most delightful breakfasts! The... More

Our family of 3 stayed at the Old Turner Inn over Memorial Weekend, probably the busier of the weekends to be on the island. The town was crazy but The Old Turner Inn remained a peaceful getaway from the crowds just a few blocks away. The Inn is conveniently located close to everything you need. Kristy, the Manager,is just a... More

I planned a surprise getaway for my husband who had never been to Catalina before and I chose The Old Turner Inn because it sounded so much more intimate and cozy than a standard hotel. I'm so happy I did. We stayed in the Seashell Room and were very pleased. The room and bathroom were very clean and the king... More
