Only $60 for a great clean room with bathroom towels, shampoo, etc. They had a decent free breakfast as well. Staff was friendly as well. Only problem was no wifi, which doesn't matter much because the room was cheap

We paid $72 (included taxes!!!) for a king room with a decent breakfast included so this is definitely a value. Tahoe/Truckee is expensive and we just wanted a place to stop to get closer and go to Northstar for the day (so as not to have to leave at 5am) so we weren't looking for anything fancy. Pluses: right off... More

Auburn has little to offer in lodging, this MAY be the best. Good breakfast, clean? room, walk to dinner, does meet 2 star standards, unlike the two other 2 star rated properties. Only other choice in Auburn is Holiday Inn ( 30% more, bad location, no breakfast). Suggest stay in Roseville fifteen miles closer to sacramento, good lodging right off... More

strange location, parking lot shared with 3 other businesses, and is on a driveway. nice touch was homeless cart outside our door. can walk to food, but go onto another town. room was OK, but not up to par with ratings. they lost my reservation then found it, then lost it-go figure, but do it elsewhere. didn't feel real safe... We booked two rooms at the Quality Inn Auburn - one for five nights, the other four. My elderly Mom and I drove cross-country to meet my brother, who lives in San Francisco, there. We booked the rooms based largely on the photos and reviews found on this site. We especially liked the lobby photos - we wanted a spacious... More

The Quality Inn in Auburn is right off the freeway and close to many restaurants. At check-in we had a very nice and professional front desk person, Conner. The motel is a bit worn out and shabby looking, The picture is misleading, in that most rooms are in a completely different and older building. There were about 50 bed frames... More

Many hotels look good on the outside but disappoint once inside. The Auburn Quality Inn is the reverse. Don't be put off by the aging exterior, inside my room had clearly been renovated, was spotlessly clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Very solid value. There are several decent restaurants close by including the wonderful Black... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a last minute hiking getaway. The customer service was excellent, but the room itself was what I expected for the price: average. The bed was a bit stiff, but I slept comfortably enough (after a few drinks). It was relatively clean, except the shower curtain had a few brown stains, and one of... More

Had two weeks in California, 8 different hotels and this one was the rock bottom. Staff was friendly and room was spacy, but unfortunately we got for Thanksgiving the room from freeway side and tehre was no sound isolation. So You need ear plugs here. Iwas shocked at breakfast: all plates cups and cutlery was disposable. There were two people... More

My friend and I stayed at the Quality Inn for 4 nights while we visited a 3-day festival in the Sierra Nevada, and we pretty much got what we paid for. As mentioned in the previous review by Cleo, we also had to deal with the car alarm going off all the time, but earplugs really helped with that problem.... More
