We recently visited Disneyland and all points tourist, staying at many Motel 6's for the night. This one was dated and dingy to say the least but then you get what you paid for and all we wanted was to have a few hours sleep then get up and get on the road. In the morning I grabbed a folded... This place was a good stopping point going south from San Francisco to LA, decided to visit Hearst Castle after I woke up (less than an hour North of here). The room was not as nice as a more recently renovated location I stayed at in Santa Maria or Oakland, but it was $10 less than Motel 6 in Pismo... More

For my purposes on this September 2013 visit, which was 3 days of work in the Templeton area, this Motel 6 was perfect, including price point. Very convenient on/off location to the 101, adequate provisions and space (not too small) for the room. Bathroom was in good condition, towels not as flimsy as some like motels would have. As for... A bit overpriced and the TV was out. It was very quiet despite being close to the freeway but the beds had a bit of body odor still. It was moderately clean. There seemed to be some long-term tenants but they caused no problems.

The rooms were clean but tiny, it felt like staying at a hostel or a college dorm. There were a lot of very young travelers and other very young student like people staying here, didn't seem that anyone over 25 would fit in here but that was just an observation on the night I stayed and the staff were very... If all you need is a place to sleep and clean up for your adventures, this will work for you. This is my 2nd stay here. I always bring my own coffee pot and cooler, as there is no coffee pot in room or refrigerator. The price is very affordable: $54 a night with senior discount. They also accept pets... More

My boyfriend and I planned a weekend wine tasting in Paso Robles, but didn't want to pay Paso Robles' prices for a simple place to lay our head at night. Atascadero's Motel 6 is 10-15 minutes drive from Paso, and a simple, easy place to stay. No frills, but just a basic room that was clean. Would stay here again... More

We drove up to Morro Bay and then Cambria on a recent Saturday and after dinner at the Galley's Seafood Grill & Bar in Morro Bay and dreading the drive back to Los Angeles after a few drinks, we decided to stay over for the evening instead. Not having planned this overnight stay ahead of time, we launched the Booking... More
