We stayed there on our first night on a grand USA South Western road trip. We were a little nervous having never holidayed before in a V on our way to Yosemite. Our welcome was awesome. In minutes the kind lady who booked us in had given us a better rate, moved us to a more shady site and said... More

We were pleasantly surprised by our recent stay over Thanksgiving break. This is a nicely kept, peaceful campground with very friendly and accommodating camp hosts and staff. The location was perfect for making day trips to Calaveras Big Trees, Moaning Caverns, Columbia and Jamestown. We would definitely stay here again!

Folks are very nice at check in. Laundry is decent. Dog park is covered with wood chip mulch - not a good thing. Spaces are very close together for a wooded park. Even thought they weren't anywhere near full, we were close to loud people with several barking dogs. Lady in the office said we could move, but we didn't... More

We are sorry you did not find our park satisfactory for your needs. Most guests are very pleased with the park and their sites. It sounds as if everything that could have not fit your needs all came together in one visit! We are an older park, and while our showers are small, we pride ourselves in our clean restrooms... We spent a single night here in one of the premium tent sites, but I would have liked to stay longer. We were basically using this site as base camp for our back-to-back day trips in the area. The facilities are immaculate, and offer a nice variety of choices: tent sites, pull-through RV spaces, sleeping cabins, and larger cottages. There... More

The accommodations were good but the teenaged migrant workers lurking about kept us from enjoying ourselves. They ran us all out of the pool our first night, with management doing nothing about their rude behavior. They would spend hours staring at us in our camp while loudly speaking in Spanish on their phones. Would suggest finding another place to stop,... More

We appreciate your feedback and management did address the issue by informing the boys that they were not to dive or jump into the pool. Our pool is public, available to all guests. The tree-planting crew rarely uses the pool; they work from 4 a.m. and get back to the park about 5 p.m., shower, do their laundry, eat dinner,... More

We came here out of San Francisco - it was our first night in a motorhome and this camp made it easy. It's scenic and pleasant. The hosts are lovely. Games/playground for the kids. Facilities were well maintained. It was a great place to start our experience. If you are in town the Angels' Food Market had relatively easy parking... More

So glad you enjoyed our park AND our little Angels Camp community -- yes, Angels' Market has a wonderful deli/meat counter! FYI they make killer sandwiches, too. Thank you and hope to see you again soon. More

We stayed here with 2 other families. The sites for RVs were clean and had all the hookups. They were very close to each other though, not a lot of extra space. The kids loved the small pool. It was very clean and perfect for cooling off. There is a small playground, but it is in disrepair. My kids loved... More

We stayed here in our trailer for 3 days, which wasn't long enough! The campground was clean and peaceful with nice amenities. For those who "tent it", they had wonderful sites that have picnic tables, wooden chairs and wooden arbors for shade. They have a common area with electric burners and sinks and barbecue areas. They have cute cabins for... More

Stayed here for a month. Gravel roads & sites. Numerous improvements being made by owners that include community fire pit & dog park with agility devices. The owners & manager were awesome & very helpful. The park is located right next to the Fairgrounds where concerts & The Annual Frog Jumping contest of Calaveras County is held. It is also... More
