The refurbishment has made a huge difference. The rooms are now what you would expect for a good hotel. It is never going to be as convenient as the Grand Californian but I would happily stay at either hotel. Have never stayed at Paradise Pier but can say there are now two real alternatives for people who want a good... More

Stayed for 5 nights at the disneyland hotel and loved every minute of it! it was truly a disney bubble and i really did not want to leave! I originally booked a standard room, and a sale came out so i rebooked a premium room with help from the Disney reservations over the phone. When we arrived the staff greeted... More

I think there are a lot of benefits to staying at this hotel. We booked a package through Costco and although we paid the same price for the room and 3-day park pass, with Costco they included a free character meal (which was over a 100 dollars for the three of us), and a $40 disney giftcard (which covered another... Stayed here for the first time in July and stayed here again at the end of January. I reserved a Premium view room again and I even requested to be in the same general vicinity of the room I had last time because it was fairly quiet (end of the hall) and had an amazing view of Downtown Disney. When... More

Ok, Disneyland Hotel. You win. I have stayed at Paradise Pier and inspected Grand Californian but neither can deliver what you do: a fun, easy-to-navigate, deluxe, Disney-quality property that overflows with Disney Magic. I have waited my whole life to spend one night here and I was not disappointed. A very comfortable bed which lullabyed us to sleep with music... More

After spending several weeks cruising Alaska on the Disney Wonder and then going through Western Canada on a train our final destination on our holiday was going to be spent at Disneyland. The last time I was at Disneyland I was about 8 years old and always wanted to stay at the Disneyland Hotel and I'm glad I did. We... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. We were immediately greeted at the door by Goofy when our bus arrived. The room was great with enchanting decor (Adventureland Tower). It was a much closer walk to the parks than it appeared online. Would stay here again.

I stayed in the Disneyland Hotel within the Frontier Tour. I was with my Dad, we had a room with 2 queen beds and it worked out great. Even as a 24 yr old adult I fell in love with the special Disney touches throughout the room; I was very tempted to try to steal the decorative pillows. For us,... More

The rooms are great with mickey and Disney features throughout. If travelling with smaller kids it's worth the extra expenses for the convenience. Purchases from Disney can be sent back to your room. Easy walk to monorail and downtown Disney. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

We loved staying at the Disneyland Hotel. The staff were superb, the kids loved it (so did the adults). It is a short work to DisneyLand and California Adventure (maybe 8-10mins), through Down Town Disney, which is a lovely walk. The Hotel is a little 'tired' but its Disneyland and full of little Disney touches. We ate at Goofys Cafe... More
