First of all this place does provide the 'Disney' experience. Great location next to down town disney and short walk to both the parks. Front counter staff were great. Early check in was no fuss and at 9:30am. Pool area was awesome and extra security of all the life savers. Characters walking around the facility was a very welcomed extra... More

Debated staying on the Disney property this trip versus staying nearby for a fraction of the cost at a potentially nicer hotel. LOVED staying here. I preferred The Disneyland Hotel to The Grand Californian where we stayed last year. It doesn't feel worn down in the slightest like I felt the Grand Californian did. Location? Fantastic. Pools? Great. I would... More

Stayed here over the President's Day weekend as my daughters were competing in a dance competition at the hotel's convention center. Convenient for the dance competition, but otherwise, not worth the money. Still have to pay $24/day for valet parking. The rooms were so-so, somewhere along the lines of a $150-200/night hotel. Pool was average, but did have a water... More

Magical!! Loved the drawings and photos of Walt everwhere you look. Big rooms very comfy and upscale. Headboards have tasteful fiber optics emulating fireworks in a soft nightlight manner. Under five minutes walk to the parks. Simply perfect.

This is definitely a great place to stay if you want the all around Disney experience. Yes, it is pricey. Yes, it's not a Four Seasons. Yes, there are kids everywhere (it's Disneyland!) But you truly stay within the "Disney bubble" the entire time! There are tea cup chairs in the lobby when you check in. Kids get their own... More

This was my first stay at the Disneyland Hotel and it was totally worth it! The rooms were so magical! The headboard lights up and plays music! The handle on the sink were Mickey hands! The lights in the bathroom were held with Mickey hands! We weren't expecting a refrigerator since it wasn't in the description of the room, but... More

What a fantastic hotel! It was worth all the money - great location, spacious room and nice staff. Loved the headboard with the fireworks! It was amazing. One staff member did walk in our room unannounced while we were changing which was weird, but we would definitely stay here again!!

I'm a Disney fan, so maybe I'm a little biased, but during a recent trip to Disneyland, I decided to stay within the Disneyland "bubble" and chose the Disneyland Hotel based on previous reviews. And although the hotel is pricey, especially compared to other nearby hotels, the truth is that you get what you pay for: an excellent Disney-filled experienced... More

Best hotel stay ever. It was a bit pricier, but worth every penny. The hotel and room felt like an extension of the park itself. The headboard lit up and played music; the faucet heads were Mickey Mouse-shaped; and the pillows had little quotes from Disney movies on them (don't ask me the movie). I never wanted to leave.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Disneyland Hotel for the first time. I booked this hotel because it had the best reviews of the Disneyland resorts and for the proximity to the park. The best part of this stay was how close it was to the park. The rooms were comfy and quiet and the headboard everyone is talking... More
