Visit Disneyland every year, but this was the first time at the Desert Palms. Myself, Daughter, and Granddaughter stayed the first week of May. It was great! The people at the front desk were very helpful. The room was everything we needed and wanted. Breakfast was great. We could eat until filled - inside or out on the roof terrace.... more

We were wondering if the 0.7 mile (per Google maps) hike to and from Disneyland would be too much for our 5 year old daughter. It was a snap! The sidewalk to Disneyland was wide, heavily traveled, and well-lit. Forget the $4 per person shuttle. Walk and save $8 per person per day. That being said, the hotel was great.... more

One reason we stayed was because of the "full complimentary" breakfast. It was hardly what we were accustomed to - fruit loops and corn flakes, juice, tasteless scrambled eggs with chopped ham, small sausage patty, biscuits and sausage gravy. Lots of boxed donuts and icky coffee served in small styrofoam cups. No fresh fruit, yogurt or muffins - much less... more

This hotel did all it said it would. The rooms are big (like most US hotels) and the bathrooms are big and there are 3 times as many towels as you need. :) Could do with a little updating, but it's within a few hundred metres of Disneyland's main entrance and worth every penny we paid. I'd go back tomorrow. more

We were travelling with another family and we all found this hotel an excellent place to stay. It was very very clean. They even change the sheets on the beds everyday! Close enough to Disneyland to walk quite easily. Another plus, was that it came with breakfast. Nothing fancy but did the job. I must admit I was a bit... more

We traveled from Ohio and stayed from Thursday thru Sunday for a wedding. It was very beautiful, the service was great, the desk clerks were always very helpful. Our room was very nice, the beds were comfortable after long days of walking. When I return, I will stay at the Desert Palm. more

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I second "jiminhi's" review. I was even there at the front desk when he and his lovely wife and daughters gave the Hawaiian cookies to the staff. They didn't offer to share though (sniff). The staff will try to sell you an upgrade, so if possible deal with "Sam" at the front desk (after 3:00 P.M.) We... more

My wife and I travel and know that hotels typically only receive bad notes...never the good ones. So...here is a good one... We have stayed in many hotels...from Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton’s on down. We were at Desert Palms Hotel & Suites from June 6th to June 11th while going to Disneyland. We really enjoyed our stay. The... more

Firstly, the price quoted online was 50% off, even at that price, it was still just cheaper than the local Hilton (across the road). When we arrived, tired from an 11 hour flight, and 1 hour drive, we were given the "hard sell" by the receptionist to upgrade our room. He made us several offers, until he finally persuaded us... more
