The beds are very uncomfortable and hard! If your room is on the 1st floor, it will be loud. You will hear everything from the parking garage to the lobby. I can't say for other floors, we stayed on the 1st. The location was convenient for walking to disney land, but I will probably never stay in this hotel again.... More

I chose this hotel because it seemed to have good reviews. Very disappointed. The mattress was very uncomfortable.....like sleeping on concrete. It was so bad that my husband ended up sleeping on the floor on pillows. We spent the day at Disneyland and we were very tired and looking forward to a good night's sleep. Didn't happen. Rooms very outdated.... More

Reservations were done 2 months an advance and upon arriving at 9 AM the hotel desk provided us an upgrad to a larger room at no extra charge since we had arrived earlier and our original room was not ready. One of the front desk reps- Jessica was VERY knowledgable in the area and assisted us in planning our 5... More

Very good location and price. The hotel is nice and walking distance to the parks and the convention center. I attended a convention and choose this hotel. It is more favorable for the parks than a convention just because it is more family friendly. Seems like to get a lot of traffic and it shows a little in the rooms.... More

When we arrived early after a 13hr drive they were accommodating to store our luggage until check in, which was appreciated. We checked in later that evening, exhausted only to have the room be dirty, the mini fridge not working, no dresser drawers big enough to actually put clothes in, the T.V. having very few channels, the bathroom door hanging... We arrived from our road trip after a very disappointing day at Six Flags Magic Mountain. we needed a bit of a pick me up, and the hotel gave us it. We have visited the area twice both quite a few years ago and we had previously chosen to stay in the Howard Johnson. This time we booked the Desert... More

Smells like mold and mildew, not very appealing. Woke up early and stayed out late just to avoid the hotel. Had a tough time getting into bed at night because of how disgusting it made me feel. Breakfast was appalling, my family couldn't even eat there. We will not be staying here again.

It is all relative. The Disney Grand Californian Hotel in August 2014 costs $800+ daily for a room with 2 queen beds. It is gorgeous and Disneyland is at your doorstep. We stayed at the Desert Palms Hotel and Suites for $234 a night. It is a 5-minute walk from Disneyland. We (3 adults and 2 children) had a "suite":... More

Desert palms is only a 10min walk to the parks & short drive to the highway for LA or San Diego. We stayed 6 nights and did some tray trips to LA as well. Sometimes that took an hour, sometimes 2.5 hours with a lot of construction traffic. The hotel has a great location with a good few nice restaurants... More

Choose this hotel for walking distance to Disneyland. Wasn't disappointed. Good Location. Nice free breakfast every morning. Nice family hotel. Small pool, however, that wasn't a priority for us. Would recommend.
