There is so much that's great about the Desert Palms Hotel & Suites, location being first and foremost. The walk to Disneyland is just a few minutes and with a 4-year old was a plus. The breakfast was consistently good and the bar served great finger foods in the evening. We actually were in town during the World Cup and... More

This was our favorite hotel when we were visiting California. This hotel is walking distance to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure Park. The hotel has "family" suites that have a separate kids room! It was awesome to have a few nights for both us an the kids that were we could chill and not be in the same room. The... More

The Desert Palms is our favorite (after Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian). Good suites, excellent service and fabulous location to walk to the parks. The only thing I would wish for would be a lounge or seating area to visit in. We had multiple families traveling together and would have liked to sit in the outdoor breakfast area in the... More

It was my children's first trip to LA and Disneyland so were very excited except when we arrived at Desert Palms Hotel! We had a "Deluxe Suite" with two Queen sized beds. The room was dark and dirty and our view was of a brick wall and carpark! The room was noisy and we had a vending machine right outside... More

I and my family consisting of one adult daughter and our two teen daughters had a blast at this hotel. Everything seem to be at our fingertips. Immediately when we arrived at this hotel, we were upgraded surprisingly from a deluxe 2-Queen beds bedroom to a Jr. Suite and at no extra cost. We all loved that our hotel room... More

I booked this room as the ratings were supporting this hotel to be very good. I booked this trip in February for my son's 10th birthday. I called the hotel and requested a room that over looked Disneyland... The lady I spoke with was excited that we choose this hotel to stay to celebrate my son's birthday and his 1st... More

Having scheduled another Disneyland vacation, we again choose to stay here. This trip we noticed things we didn't see before. We've been to the hotel during major renovations, such as a carpet swap and major interior painting. This time, we noticed more of the up-keep type stuff. For example, we did notice in the morning an employee notating places on... More

My family and I had a great stay at the Desert Palms. We are a family of 5, 3 who are teenagers we stayed in a Yula Family suite. It was great as you could close the door to the kids room. We were on the back of the hotel and had a perfect view of the fireworks at Disney... More

Desert Palms is a great family base to visit Disneyland. Disneyland main gate is about a 10 minute walk away. We also arranged bus tours to SeaWorld, Universal Studios and Knott's Berry Farm. The rooms was comfortable and serviced daily. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with good, strong coffee available. The pool is a bit small but just big enough... More

We have tried multiple hotels in the Disneyland area and this is now my least favorite. We were so disappointed with the Desert Palms. We paid for a Yuha suite to allow ample room for our family of 5. We were surprised to find this bought us two tiny rooms with an all-glass shower-type door linking them together. What??? Part...
