From the moment we checked in we where made to feel welcome. The can do attitude of the staff was a real bonus. Desert Palms was an easy 10 minute walk to Disneyland and is located next to National and Alamo car rental hire. Also 2 convenience stores next door as well was great. Breakfast was included in the price... More

We stayed here for the Disneyland Half.. It was close enough to walk.. The staff was very friendly. They also let us check in early. Which wAs really nice... People complain about noise. But we just heard kids running up the hallways, which you kinda expect. But we slept well....

Because our kids are bigger, we appreciated the Kids Suite for this reason. We also had a room facing the rear of the hotel but high enough we had a direct view of the fire works. The breakfast was one of the best free breakfasts I've seen. Free parking. Free WiFi. They also gave me a card for 10% off... More

First trip to Disneyland....hotel was conveniently located (only 6minute walk with small kids) to main gate. Hotel is clean and staff were friendly. They honoured our request for an upgrade to a suite upon check in as we were staying 6 nights. The suite had a separate area with bunk beds for the kids so it was ideal for a... More

This hotel is located within walking distance of Disneyland (approx. 10 min). The suite we stayed in was roomy and clean. There was a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave. There is a daily breakfast buffet with make your own waffle stations.

Me and my wife surprised our kids and took them to Disneyland for the Labor Day holiday. When looking for places to stay our main objectives were to find a place that we could afford, close proximity to Disneyland, and something that could fit our whole family. The location could not be beat, it was only a five minute walk... More

I have traveled countless times to Disneyland, mostly on a budget, and have stayed at many different hotels. We have a small child, so wanted close proximity to Disneyland for prompt walks back to the hotel for naps, etc. We also were not interested in waiting for buses for trams. This place is not perfect, and not for the super... More

Stayed here for 5 nights to be close to Disneyland and liked the idea of a separate room with bunk-beds and free breakfast each morning. The hotel lobby is a litlte random and the pool is small and enclosed by walls so not a lot of sun. The front desk staff was friendly but we were under the impression we... More

Our start-to-finish experience with Desert Palms was fantastic. I booked three rooms several months in advance at a very good rate (kudos #1). My travel plans changed shortly thereafter, meaning I needed to cancel one of the rooms. It was a smooth, hassle-free process (kudos #2). When my party arrived at the hotel, we were pleased to find that they... More

If you're planning on staying here, it's probably because you're going to Disneyland - it is only a 5 minute walk. That being the case, the Desert Palms is ok for that purpose, since the rooms are dated, the walls are very thin and they could do with a new mattress. A 5 star resort this place is not, but... More
