I agree with other reviewers. It is more than 1 block to Disneyland but if you walk around to the parking lot for the Mickey and Friends parking structure you can catch the free Disney shuttle the rest of the way to the park.

We found this Holiday Inn to be convenient, reasonable walk to Downtown Disney about 10 minutes. The first day we took the shuttle but for the other three days we walked to and from Disneyland. The neighborhood felt safe walking at night with the family.

Other hotels exist with closer proximity. This is a long "1 block" from the park entrance. If your kids are 10+, it may work. Or if they are in strollers, it may work for you. We are adults that do not mind walking, but at a brisk pace it was an 11 minute walk to the start of Downtown Disney and then another 10 minutes walk through Downtown Disney before reaching the Disney entrance gates. I recently took a group of high school musicians for a weekend music festival at Disneyland. We checked in earlier than the posted check in time and only 2 of our 19 rooms were not ready.
