The hotel and staff was amazing. We spent a full week there. Sunday to Sunday. We did so much. I recomend Discover the Magic tour with the family. But for our anniversary I had booked a couples massage at the spa. It was mediocre at best. It seemed as if they were both right out of school for massage. It... more

My whole family decided to stay there for six nights, fully expecting to leave on the seventh day. We had a suite facing the park. While it is pricy, the service is well worth it. We loved the concierge room (you have to pay for an upgrade)a nd the snacks etc... that it provided...trust me when I say that you'll... more

We have stayed at this hotel once before and absolutely loved it. Last time we had a resort view I think it's worth the extra money. This time we had a standard view and we could watch the Monorail going between the buildings. My one warning is becareful what you put in your in room safe. Our friends traveling with... more

We stayed at GCH Sept 28-Oct 1. Good: - Great location with respect to Disneyland parks. We can go from our room to Soaring California (great ride) in couple minutes. - Clean and comfortable room. We had the double room. The mattresses could be better so suggestion to Disney is to see/feel Westin Heavenly. - Napa Rose is great. We... more

We are frequent Disneyland visitors and had wanted to stay in the Grand Californian since it opened. During this trip, we were in the hotel for three nights. On the first night, we were awakened by a misdirected phone call by a Disney staffer at about 3 AM. Once we hung up, they promptly called again, and apologized for bothering... more

We stayed at the GCH Sept 18-21 and got a Downtown Disney view. The view was great, we were right across from Naples on the 5th floor. But the rooms dont have elevators near them. Its a long walk. Id say its like a U, and the elevators are at one end and your at the other end. I would... more

My family stayed at the Grand Californian Hotel right before school started and thought it would be a good closure for Summer. The hotel itself is lovely, the lobby area (called a great hall) was amazing. It is opened for the public to walk through and has an enormous fireplace where there is usually a guitar player or storyteller each... more

It's been a while since we stayed there, but I just started using this site while searching for a different hotel to stay on our next trip to Disneyland. I suspect that the experience now is the same as when we went, though, and the price premium certainly is :). We arrived a little before check-in time, but were told... more
