We have stayed here a number of times since this hotel opened. I think the best time of year to stay here is during the winter, ideally the holidays, when a gigantic Christmas tree stands in the lobby center, Santa drops by every evening, and Christmas carolers stroll in from time to time. The closeness to the parks make the... more

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were way over priced and small the beds were comfortable and the pillows were kinda hard. The bathroom was nice and there was plenty of shampoo and soap. The turn down service was nice and the chocolates were a plus. The lobby was large and comfortable and the hotel employees were very nice.... more

We love this hotel and have stayed on each of our trips to Disneyland in the past few years. We just spent four nights, checking out on Easter Sunday. The location is astoundingly good. And the location is great. Have I mentioned the location? You are right next to Disneyland and Downtown Disney and can actually walk into California Adventure... more

If you can afford it, this is definitely THE place to stay during your visit to Disneyland. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from your room to Disneyland Park, 5 minutes from your room to California Adventure Park, and 2 minutes from your room to Disney Town with lots of shops and restaurants. You are paying 4 season... more

I have stayed several times at this hotel, mostly because it's location and because it's simply gorgeous. That said I know I'm overpaying, a lot, a huge huge lot. The rooms are as bland as any found in an Embassy Suites or any other hotel next to the highway. Absolutely nothing to be impressed. The pillows are uncomfortable and the... more

I decided to spend my 60th birthday at the Grand Californian and Disneyland. The hotel was beautiful. The suite was lovely and overlooked the courtyard. The beds and linens were very luxurious. The flat screened tvs were great, as was the turndown service, the chocolates, and the over all experience. It was well worth the money. more

We stayed at the Grand Californian for the first time with our 4 daughters. Ages 6,7,9 and 15. We stayed on the Concierge Level, The Craftsman Club 6th floor Room 6116. It looked towards the fireworks every night. We were there March 10th-17th and every day was magical. The concierge desk was simply wonderful and catered to our every need!... more

We have stayed at the Grand Californian several times. And each time we are so happy. The location alone is so worth the extra money. If you get tired or need to switch shoes or you get wet, its just so close to both the parks that you can make the most of your day. The service is always excellent,... more

We have always talked of staying at the GC on a Disney trip - and finally got our chance this week. We just returned from a 3 night stay. While the lobby is beautiful and the location is terrific - that is the end of the magic at this hotel. Once you leave the fabulous lobby - the rooms are... more

I LOVED it here! Clean hotel, nice staff. I booked a downtown disney view and requested an upper level fireworks view room. We stayed in 4157 and it was great! We could see the fireworks at night and our tv had a fireworks station to where you could hear the music that went along with it. (this was of course... more
