When I saw a 2 bedroom villa availability at The Villas @ Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa during the Father's day weekend, I instantly made the reservation since we've been wanting to stay at that hotel. As DVC members, we used our points so it was ok but if I have to pay 1200$-1500$ per night, I would have... More

Upon entering the hotel late in the evening, it felt very Beauty and The Beast like. It was a great way to start a trip to Disney. Overall the staff was extremely friendly. When I asked about postage stamps at the concierge, they offered me free postcards and delivery of my postcards. All the staffs are really well informed about... More

Five-star location, three-star service and price. This is our 2nd visit to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. Making reservations was simple, check-in seamless. The valet/bellmen, greeter are very personable, front desk clerk and maids are less personable. The location of this hotel is the most convenient of all hotels when visiting Disneyland/California Adventure. It has an entrance directly from the hotel... More

We visited this hotel for four days during early June. Our room overlooked Downtown Disney. We found the room to be lovely and the beds very comfortable. Some of the reviews had said the hotel was rundown, but I have no idea of where those people had stayed. It definitely was not at the Grand Californian! The staff was friendly and... More

We LOVED our stay at this hotel! The room was beautiful! We forgot our daughter's favourite blankie and they have shipped it back to us at no charge! We are so grateful!!!! It was so convenient to be so close to the parks. It was also great to have the magic hour each morning!

When I was going to book last year, there were plenty of negative reviews that were making me question whether to book or not. I asked a few friends who had stayed there and all encouraged me to book and listen to them rather than the reviewers. Thank goodness we did. It was for my birthday celebration. Typically, we will... Perfect place to stay after big days at the Disney Parks - A touch of Disney magic in this hotel without it being to much. Love the location and the dining options. The Atrium area is really amazing!!

I've stayed at the Disneyland hotel many times - pre and post renovations. And every time I'd walk by the Grand Californian and think, that place must be real nice. Well the lobby is - but otherwise, to me, it was just a hotel, and not nearly as nice as the updated Disneyland Hotel. The rooms are nothing great, felt... More

The Grand Californian is pretty grand (with prices to match). However, the convenience when traveling with extended family, including two young kids, made it just about worth it. The location right next to the park is perfect. We took advantage of the early admission each morning, and loved being able to go back and forth between hotel and park throughout... More

The Grand Californian puts you in the ideal location that gives you access to Downtown Disney, Disneyland, and California Adventure. But first, you have to check-in. A Cast Member escorts you to the registration desk. This is necessary because if this is your first visit to the Grand Californian, you are most likely gawking at the expansive lobby area that...
