Not very impressed. Booked a "Deluxe View Room" at around AUD$450/night which sleeps 5 people (queen bed looks more like a double, bunk set and roll out bed). The room measures roughly 30 x 14 feet which works out to be less about 55 square feet per person. Surprised that even meets fire code. The room was made up for... More

I absolutely love this hotel. We normally stay at a good neighbor across the street, however we decided to splurge. We stayed 7 days which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the parks & the pools during the heat of the day. Such a great location & own private entrance & are able to use the early morning magic... Only hotel that has the parks on the doorstep although its still a fair walk to Disneyland (direct access to the Californian adventure park). Grander than Sequoia lodge but the rooms still felt like they were built on the cheap. This permeated throughout the hotel - pool OK but seen much better before, restaurant was expensive and seen better before... More

We had a nice suite on level 3 with great views out over two of the hotel's three pools. A wonderful early morning sight, plus night views of the ferris wheel and roller coaster. The hotel is in a fabulous location, with shops and restaurants galore on the doorstep and a very short walk to the Parks. That meant we... More

We came in late August, early Sep. The hotel not only has its own entrance to California Adventure, but it's also the closest hotel on the property to both parks. Would go have given this place a 5, but it's a bit pricey, and certain things didn't function properly. First, the cable went out, and didn't come back on. I... More

This is the most expensive hotel in the Disneyland Resort, but the second you walk in, you can see why. We had fantastic service, an easy check in. It is very easy to get lost in this hotel, but the cast members did a great job of pointing me in the right direction every time I was lost. I shared... More

We were spending two days at Disneyland while visiting my daughter in CA. I had originally booked another hotel but my husband said to try to stay onsite with about two weeks to go--the only one was the Grand Californian so we booked it! We spent two nights, and spent most of the first day and check out day at... More

We stayed for three nights in late August when the temperature was in the high 90s. We paid for a room on the Concierge (Club) Level which came with lounge benefits - more on that below. The room (one double and bunk beds) was of a fair size and came with a balcony. There was a small balcony with two... More

Stayed at this hotel during the off peak end of summer time. Usually stay at Paradise Pier but decided to splurge on a $600 a night stay for 4 nights. Check in was great - super friendly check in assistant (thanks Maggie) - she got us a room right away at 11am and in a great location where we could... More

Like most other people have already stated, you stay here for the location. I was traveling with my husband and 11 & 10 year old children. Each morning I would awake before my family and walk the 5 minutes from my room to Starbucks (in Downtown Disney) and get coffee & breakfast then head to Jamba Juice to get the... More
