We stayed in the Grand Californian with 3 kids. Room was decent size with bunk beds and a bed that was on the floor. The bunk beds are not meant for any kid over 12, The bathroom was small and the carpet was old. Not too bad, but not up to the price. You could walk a long way to... More

We spent 4 nights the first week of April with extended family and grandkids. Staff was excellent, room was comfortable, and the location was perfect. Not too far for the 3 YO to walk to either park. About the only thing that could have been improved is the in-room coffee service. Was this goofy (Disney pun) 1 cup per pod... More

We just had an amazing stay at this awesome hotel. Upon checking we were offered a free upgrade or an upgrade to concierge for a small fee (which we accepted). The location is right inside theme park but without the noise or bustle. The room was very clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for 7 nights while visiting Southern Cali for a wedding. Although the price was higher than I normally would spend for a room of this size, 2 queen beds and a small bathroom, we still enjoyed the hotel with its high Disney standards of cleanliness, friendliness and quality. Plus the location was terrific, walking right into Downtown Disney... More

For the price that you pay, this hotel itself is not that fancy. It is well appointed, the lobby is impressive, and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are standard, nicely furnished, and we had a view over the pool. There is double glazing that is very effective and very useful when having a mid afternoon nap between theme... More

My mother, my two sister and I stayed at the Grand Californian for 3 nights. We were visiting from the Cayman Islands and Ireland to celebrate my 18th Birthday. When we all arrived (exhausted) we were automatically greeted with a smile and were being checked in within 2 minutes. I have never had such prompt service. The Hotel makes a... More

We stayed two nights in the Disney Grand Californian One Bedroom Villa’s in Mid-April during the week of our 13 year old son and 11 year old daughters’ Spring Break. The combination of booking mid-week and a very late Spring Break in our school district combined for very moderate traffic and so an easy time in both parks. We had... More

Ok so as with every other reviewer, I am going to say it is all about the location. While it is nice to sort of have your own gate to the park, it is not the end all. Picture an entire hotel trying to get through only one lane at 7a. Its ok but not great. Unfortunatly the rush for... More

My wife and I spent four nights at the Grand Californian. As other reviews have mentioned, staying here is not cheap and this is why: Location, location, location. That's right, above all else, you're paying for the sheer convenience of being able to easily go to and from the resort property to both Disneyland and California Adventure. At first, we... More
