We had been on the road for 14 hours and 1000 miles and we were super tired. We came across this motel as we journeyed through this quaint quiet town. The front desk lady was nice and the room we stayed in was clean with good hot water and the wifi was good too. This motel is pet friendly so... More

We didn't make it quite as far as planned and came in very late, waking the innkeeper. He was very accommodating! Our bed was delightfully comfortable! We discovered in the morning that our room was impeccably clean, the bathroom was updated, the TV was a flat screen, the porch supports were peeled pine - overall quaint and reminiscent of mid-century... This was the 8th day of our road trip through the Northwest states. Heading from eastern Nevada we would determine our night's destination once we reached Reno. Alturas it was. After reaching Alturas we checked a couple of motels for price. The Super 8 was surprisingly higher than we expected but the desk clerk there suggested the Hacienda Motel as... More

Our car broke down in Alturas and the owner went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. I think the room was perfect. Comfortable and charming. I liked it so much, I sent them a Christmas card!

Price is great. Rooms are clean and bathroom has been remodeled Bed was comfortable and they are pet friendly I agree with review about TV being an issue for hitting your head. They might want to consider flat screens on the wall Otherwise it is great to support a local business when the obviously care about their property

This motel looks odd from the outside...but is super clean and comfortable inside. The location is easy to find. T he place is quiet...beds were comfortable. We would stay here again. Inn keepers were very nice.

The room was clean and comfortable. The inexpensive rate includes a small table, refrigerator and microwave. The location is convenient to the highways and restaurants. One downside: my husband was looking at the refrigerator when we came in the door and banged his head on the overhanging TV platform.

Arrived in Alturas around 10:30 p.m. with no pre-planning, but too tired to go on to Klamath Falls, so I drove past a few motels and noticed the Hacienda's office was still open, the sign said "Come in and Check out or Clean Rooms", and the place visibly had a fair amount of guests already tucked into their rooms. The... More

I found this little place through reviews, and wanted to share the excellent experience I had here. The Hacienda is a classic 50s motel court with nicely redone rooms. My room was good sized, clean, had new carpeting, nice bedding and a very clean and tidy bathroom. All for $55 a night, which was $25 cheaper than the Super 8,... More

We drove around town, looking at the other motels. Some seemed to rent monthly to people. The Hacienda Motel is very clean, the rates are reasonable, and they are pet friendly. Staff/owners were friendly and helpful. Looks like they have fixed this place up. Only stayed one night, as we were on a road trip, but would stay here again.
