The front desk clerk checked us in and the maid was in the room when we went to enter. She said she would be a few minutes because she was going to be mopping the floor. We told her to take her time because we were going to get a bite to eat. When we went to the room, it... More

Its in a great area, walking distance to tons of restaurants, shopping centers, close to oakland and san Francisco. The guy who checked me in was really nice, i wish i would have gotten his name. Definitely how front desk should be, nice, informative, and upbeat. Now onto the room. .. its alittle worse than motel 6. A bit run... More

The room was clean, and spacious. The beds were comfortable. However, it was very noisy. If you stay here expect quiet from 11-5, except for the multiple fire trucks and ambulances. You can hear people outside, cars with noisy engines, motorcycles, and an unrecognizable sawing sound (hope it was the pipes or ice machine). Also noisy semis and trash truck... More

We went on a holiday and in San Francisco we searched for a hotel, which wasn't an easy assignment. We ended up on the Alameda side. When we entered the lobby there was no one there, it smelled like someone took a piss on their carpet and it took forever before anyone came at the desk to help us. That... More

Cheap hotel but great room! Not a fancy four star hotel but very clean and comfortable. I was very skeptical with all the bad reviews online but it by far exceeded my expectations. Definitely staying again!

We needed just one night stay close to our cub scouts that were staying overnight on the USS Hornet. The room was clean and comfortable. I made reservations on line a few days before. Check in was easy.

I've traveled a lot for work so I've been spoiled a bit. I don't stay in many open motels. I was trying to keep an open mind. I was here for work at a very nice place but stayed the weekend for personal time at this place the last weekend I was in town. So here's the breakdown. At check... More

We stayed here because it was near a friend's house and we were coming for his birthday party, and found it great for an inexpensive place for the three of us to sleep. We'll probably come back here again next year for the same party.

I booked online through the Choice Hotels web-site. I specifically reserved a 2 bed non-smoking room. We checked in after 8 pm to find there were no rooms of this type left. The attendant was not apologetic. I was given a choice of a 2 bed smoking room or a king non-smoking room. We choose the king room as smoke... More

i have stayed at this hotel a few times on business. A good deal for the price. Pretty safe and quiet area. They are remodeling and i got a newly remodeled room. Clean and plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Free internet and good TV selection. The bathtub is not set-up for baths... bummer. Overall positive experience.
