Clean and generally comfortable, but could use some maintenance. It was nice to be able to control the heat. Friendly and accommodating service at the desk the day we left. Wonderful location near the beach and shopping center.

This hotel needs to be updated. Its a nice size suite but very old kitchen, not equipped with glasses, or other items and just had plastics . I heard you need to get kitchen wares from the main desk . Not sure why. A fairly large living room has old couch and chair with an out dated tv. Separate bedroom... More

I seriously do not appreciate being told when I phoned weeks ago and asked specifically for a particular area of the hotel...that it was 'no problem'. And then when I arrived was told, " oh no we can't guarantee anything like that, whom ever you spoke to was mistaken." I did not get the room in the area I wanted.... More

Accommodation was suitable for a few nights stay. Clean and comfortable. Large rooms Initially we were put in a double room next to the reception but this was noisy from the road and also you can hear people in the reception. The following day we were relocated to a larger 2 bedded room backing on to the lagoon with a... More

Nothing overly fancy. This is an older Inn but our room was clean and well maintained. It is in a quiet part of Alameda across the street from a re-done outdoor mall and only a two minute walk from the Bay. People at front desk were very nice. Simple breakfast (cereal, toast, fruit, juice, coffee and some great local doughnuts!).... More

Nice clean place to stay. Mall across the street if you wanted a large breakfast. Stayed there for 4 nights and was completely satisfied. The breakfast left a lot to desire but we just walked over to the Mall.

We have stayed here several times before when visiting friends. We were always happy with the experience so we had no concern when we booked a reservation. We entered Room 158 which was supposed to be a queen executive suite. The first thing we noticed was that one of the bathroom lights was out. The handyman came and replaced it... More

We were visiting family in the area in January and were looking for an economical, convenient, and safe place to stay for a few days. The location of Coral Reef is great--a few doors down from the beach, across the street from a nice mall, and probably ten minutes from the Oakland Airport. We were told all of the rooms... More

I've stayed here many times over the past 10 years. It is nothing fancy, but is usually clean & comfortable. It's location is convenient with shops & restaurants within walking distance. At our most recent stay, we were disturbed until about 3:00 am by people yelling in the parking lot and apt. complex across from the rooms. A very noisy... More

I stayed in this hotel for three days in November 2013. Yes, it's an older hotel, but it's been taken care of well. They have a free breakfast, but I never needed it -- it's close to Park Street, so I went to local places nearby to eat instead. It's across the street from the South Shore Center, which is... More
