I would give zero out of five if I could. Of course I knew it was a historic inn and was older. I've stayed in older hotels/Inns before but this was the worst. Started out with a smell that hit you as soon as you opened the door to the room. The carpet was filthy and looked as though it... More

Sorry you didn't like the motel. We try to do the best we can but are not always able to please everyone. Having had both good and bad reviews , please understand that a discounted motel room at $29 is not going to be the same as a $100 room. I think your review was excessively harsh. I have worked... This hotel is very cheap. But you get what you pay for, and it is extremely pratical while going to the Grand Canyon. The room was clean, with water, and heater. The lady at the front was very welcoming. But it is generally just a cheap motel! The city is almost nothing, so don't expect great places to eat!

I stayed here for one night in a cross country roadtrip. The room was clean, had directtv and a good heater. Paid $36 for the night, and felt that it delivered exactly what it should at such a cheap price. Good for a low budget night. I'd recommend to: college students, foreigners, and younger people. Wouldn't recommend for: older people... More

We found this a very good offer when we went to Grand Canyon. The trip from Vegas to Grand Canyon took us 4hrs and we think it was a situated nicely along the highway before going to Grand Canyon. We left Vegas at around 8:30AM and we arrived around 12noon at the hotel and when we arrived, we were greeted... More

When planning a trip to see the Grand Canyon I really struggled to find somewhere to stay that didn't cost the earth. The Grand Canyon was one of many stops on a month-long road-trip so affordability was key, but I wasn't prepared to forsake security, cleanliness and convenience. We paid $32 for 1 night for a double room, and although... More

Thank you for your review and thank you for staying at the Ash Fork INN. We are a struggling business and doing the best we can to provide the public with a comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation. We truly appreciate your patronage and do not take it for granted. We do have 2 restaurants and one bar and grill in... More

This was one of the worst places we have ever stayed. We will never stay there again. Should have known because it was so cheap. The tub was filthy and when ask them to clean the reply was rhat it was old and stained. We go up to northern AZ frequently. We try to stay close to area we want... More

I apologize and am very sorry your bathtub had some hard water stains on it. Ash fork has hard water and though the bathtubs are clean, hard water stains are ugly and difficult to remove. I will get some kind of cleaner to get rid of those hard water stains. Hope you had a safe and happy trip back to... More

I had booked this motel intending to arrive during the evening hours, and to use as a launching point for our visit to the Grand Canyon. For reasons I won't bore you with we didn't leave LA until midnight and drove through the night 420 miles arriving at as the sun rose in the east, after 6:00 a.m. I rang... More

Always a friendly (family-owned) welcome...even when arriving late. Love the 50's feel , now with fridge and satellite tv. Behind the motel is a small stretch of abandoned Route 66, next to the flagstone storage area, often missed by passing tourists. Ok ..the price has gone up from $19 when I first visited the motel...but it still represents excellent value...It... More

I'm never disappointed by the atmosphere of this small hotel on the mother road! Very nice folks, a step back into history!!! Love it! The old Route 66 is a historic journey that everyone needs to experience and the Ash Fork Inn is right in the center of it! Well worth your visit!!

If you want to jump into to the Mother Road atmosphere , just stop by Ash Fork Inn . It's a very old building , scarcely renewed , old furniture old TV but a charming reception full of memorabilia and free WIFI . You are on the route 66 and on the back of the motel there is the sign... More
