We stayed in the Cosper room in the main lodge, and had a great visit. This is an old lodge, so if you are expecting a luxury suite, you will be disappointed. There is no TV, clocks, or room service. But the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Some folks complained about critters but this is the great... More

I write this review after my wife and I spent five days at the lodge and in a quaint but modernized log cabin that could sleep six and at an elevation of 9100 ft. This picturesque and rustic lodge is an Arizona gem largely unaffected by the last one hundred years, Though the rooms in the lodge and log cabins... More

The location is great! It's a long way from anything which is perfect if you want to really get away. Scenery and the drive along 191 is one of the most beautiful anywhere. the lodge is quaint and rustic and there are paths to walk on and wildlife to see. The weather is cool and fresh, exactly what you want... More

This is a beautiful place with lots of character, a great place to connect with mother nature. Rented cabin no. 4, loved the rustic look. But when u go inside you expect it to be clean and set up for guests for 175 a night. They were nice enough to give us two mouse traps so we could get rid... More

Remarkably beautiful location; extremely isolated. No TV, no cell phone coverage-- that's good! Great place to really relax and enjoy mother nature. The staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was good, but menu understandably very limited. We stayed in the Lodge for three nights. Good hiking within walking distance, but trails are not well marked nor well-maintained.... More

We rode our motorcycles up here the ride is beautiful. We rented a cabin here and ate our meals here all was good. Did some hiking and riding to some look out points. The cabins have kitchens so if you want to bring your own food that would be fun too. You can also stay in the lodge we did... More

Wild Bill and the trail ride were the highlights and the two lodge dogs were awesome. The rest, however, was one big bummer. Our cabin (which came with a full kitchen, supposedly) was filthy and minimally equipped. We had to ask for toilet paper (started with a quarter of a roll), as well as ask for missing pieces to the... More

We stayed in one of the cabins this past weekend. The location is perfect for hiking and wildlife viewing. Access to the Blue Range Primitive area trails are just a short walk away. The lodge is pretty quiet, so one can get rest and relaxation. WiFi is available at the lodge. The food is really good. The grilled steaks on... More

It's a great location. We stayed in cabin #10. Plenty of hot water. Food was very good, but need to order the chicken ahead of time for dinner( found that out when we sat down for dinner), but they did cook us some burgers instead (Very good). Bed was comfy, Pillows hard, Futon for a couch. Overall, it really needs... More

We just took our two grandsons (13 and 14) to the Hannagan Meadow Lodge on our travels around Arizona. The Hannagan Meadow Lodge is a wonderful adventure, the food is very good, the staff is fun and personable. The environment . . . in the trees, with a beautiful meadow across the street . . . lends itself to comfort... More
