We spent just one night at the lodge, in February, of all things. We were provided with a warm fire in the "den", friendly service and a delicious dinner - though we were unexpected guests. The setting is beautiful and the accommodations rustic but clean. We'd return - maybe in warmer weather! More

My wife and I had wanted to stay at the Lodge for several years. The last time we had reservations there, so much snow fell nobody could get in or out. This time around, we had perfect timing. Skies were crystal clear, with 2-3 feet of snow to play in! Tina and John made us feel welcome, and part of... More

Hannagan Meadow has been a destination wish for years with thoughts there may be a connection with my Hannagan relatives. At dusk we arrived in our rental car with a fresh blanket of snow everywhere. A small herd of elk grazed along the road into the area. John guided us into a safe parking spot while Tina prepared a delicious... More

We did not stay in the hotel but for a cold traveler the restuarant service and food was great. Its a very scenic area and the decor was cool! More

Nice area but the cabins need some work. We stay every year in December and the price go up each year. It be nice if they put some money back into it. Not any more than a hunting cabin. Snow is never plowed in parking lot. Manager was very nice. Had good time. More

We recently made a repeat visit to historic Hannagan Meadow Lodge, and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. The manager, Tina, and her assistant, John, both made us feel like old friends, while making sure that our stay was enjoyable in all respects. They also demonstrated their culinary skills with some of the best trout and pancakes... More

Location, location, location! Being the only choice between Alpine and Morenci is not abused. The $85 lodge rooms are very small, but adequate. The more expensive rooms are bigger. No TV or phone in either. You are not here for the rooms, you are here for the isolated lodge experience! Water is hot in the shower and a fire burning... More

We love Hannagan Meadow Lodge - it is one of our favorite getaways! We always stay in the "Cosper" Room - it has a comfy king size bed and great views (windows on 2 sides). Very clean, nicely decorated, and the bathroom has a hair dryer and a great shower (we are tall, so it is nice to find shower... More

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Hannagan Meadow Lodge. We had seen an article written about it, and decided to give it a try. Even with the forest fire in May, the area is beautiful this time of year, especially with the Aspen trees so colorful. The meadow across the road is beautiful, but due to the fire,... More

We spent two nights in the lodge October 11 & 12 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The entire lodge was quite well-kept, clean and welcoming. The manager, Tina, and assistant, John, we very friendly and accommodating to us, and the food they prepared was excellent. While there are no electronic entertainment facilities here (no TV, etc.), the lodge is well-equipped with... More
