Hannagan Meadow Lodge is very isolated, 22 miles to the nearest town! The atmosphere is very quiet and serene. Great hunting, fishing, hiking, backpacking and photography. more

If you like the beautiful outdoors, good music, real people, fly fishing and horseback riding, this is the place for you. The staff were friendly and helpful and Wild Bill and his horses were just so very fun! Wendy was an excellent fly fishing guide and you can't go wrong with the lovely location. The rooms are rustic and that's... more

We really enjoyed the Fall colors and the rustic cabins. The hiking trails are close, well maintained, and beautiful. The lodge advertised buggy and horse rides through Oct.. When we arrived we were told the buggy ride was unavailable and we would need to see the trail boss to schedule horse rides. We checked the first two days of our... more

Swarms of fabulous hummingbirds at the front entrance. Smell of pines. Great afternoon rain storm. Night time community bone fire. Fun, nice staff. Good food in the restaurant. Cabin cozy, very rustic, clean. Beds comfortable. Kitchen supplies and appliances need lots of improvements but nothing fancy - would ruin the experience. Take everything but sheets/blankets. Great rustic experience for family... more

I traveled with brother-in-law and sister for my 30th birthday, staying in the "Lilly" cabin. The room exceeded my expectations. While the kitchen might not be roomy enough to cook a full thanksgiving dinner, it was more than adequate for my stay. There is electric, but no television. Then again, can't think of why anyone would want a tv up... more

The spectacular location fills the spirit, but the cabins are not fit for human dwelling. The list of problems include live and dead rodents, leaking roofs, unsafe steps into cabins, showers that don't drain, and the smell of mold permeating the rooms and the bedding. We plea to the owners to invest in this treasure so we can return to... more

In the past I have been very pleased with my rooms and food , but this time it was just bad. The small store was closed and moved to a small room inside the lobby, fortunatly we had made prior arrangements for fuel. I was given a cabin (McNiel "A cabin #8) that at best is was a fire trap.... more

As other recent reviewers have stated, there's a lot to be desired about this property. The incredible beauty of its surroundings and the friendliness of the staff are the only components that bring my rating up to "Average." Judging by any other standards, I'd have to say, "Poor." But, because it is the only accomodation in the very remote area,... more
