Microtel is a new hotel in Auburn, located just off Interstate 85 at exit 51. I stayed over a weekend at the Microtel and could not have been more pleased. Rooms are no frills, but CLEAN, which to me is the only thing that matters in a hotel. I have stayed at many hotels in the Auburn area on previous visits, and for the price, this is the best. The University hotel and conference center and the Grand National Lodge are clearly the nicest, but you will pay atleast twice the rate of this "budget" hotel. more
