Recently I stayed at the University Inn located behind Don Quixote's on College Street in Auburn AL. It was quoted at $75 per night for two nights, but at check in the owner told me it would be $80 per night. told . It was horrible. The rooms were dirty, there were roaches, and the furniture was broken and in... More

Horrible hotel! Even tho i paid $200 a night to stay there (game weekend) i was not expecting a 5 star hotel. I seen from the photos that it was an older hotel. Its in a great location but that is all it has going for it. When we first walked into the room i knew we had made a... More

My family stayed at this motel because we wanted to be on campus for the Auburn/LSU football game. The family members that had arrived before, had called to give me a "heads up" about the condition of the motel. When I walked in my room, I saw plaster falling from the ceiling, opened Sheetrock seams and a room that was... More

If the owners would do some simple things this place would've been okay. Buy some nice linens, sheets and towels, replace shower curtain, and get tough with your cleaning crew! On the positive side, we had new tile and new tv and looked like new carpet. We were in room101.

Anyone who plans to stay here should probably avoid any contact outside of check-in with the owners unless you are okay with people in the hospitality industry talking down to you like you are garbage. I stayed one night here and I have to admit the location is great. It's right in the heart of Auburn and there's a bunch... More

I can't in good conscience say this place is a "good deal," but it has its benefits. I'll start with the positive. Location. For the price (outside of football season), you simply won't find better. It is what I would call "yelling distance" from Toomer's corner and anything on campus is an easy walk. There is also a fridge and... More

Was traveling through and girlfriend and I simply wanted something cheap and clean. Since the rate was around $50 and nobody was there we asked to see a room. Nothing special, but sheets were clean, room smelled fine, and water pressure was fine. As others have stated, the best part of this motel is the location that allowed us to... More

The only thing good about this place is the location. It is located on College St. right in the middle of the "strip". HOWEVER, the room was absolutely disgusting. Aside from the carpets obviously not being vacuumed in who knows how long, the bedding smelled musty and old as if they had not been cleaned either. The bothroom floor was... More

The location is the WONDERFUL part of this hotel. We parked the car and walked everywhere including the stadium! GREAT! Its right downtown and steps away from Toomers corner! Other than that it has hot water and it was basically clean enough. If you plan to stay in Auburn for a weekend and don't plan on being in the room... More

Checked in to discover the rooms were worse than the exterior - old, not renovated, poor condition and extremely unclean. The owners should be ashamed to put guests in their rooms. The bathroom was 50-60 years old, hairs and bugs in the dirty tub, worse than a port-o-potty, the light fixture over the sink (outside of the bathroom) was broken... More
