We had a wonderful stay at the AU Hotel! Hans and his team do an excellent job of ensuring that their guests feel cared for. Although only in Auburn for one night, the hotel felt like home by the time we left. On our day of arrival, Amber assisted us by coordinating an early check-in. The front desk staff were... More

We stayed there a few days ago for a one night college visit. I have never been to Auburn before. Upon checking in, we asked the two young adults working customer service where we could go to get a late dinner. They did not seem to know - even though there is a campus pizza place just two blocks away... More

The Hotel at Auburn University is undergoing an update. Their lobby was being remodeled while I was there this week. A tad inconvenient. That said, the restaurant (ate dinner at the bar) was still great... allowing me to order a half order of their tasty bolognese pasta. Bartender did a great job. Morning pastries were not as fresh and flaky... More

I am often required to travel for my profession so I stay at a lot of hotels and resorts. In fact, our team often consults hospitality groups on guest service, customer experience, and hospitality. I have stayed at this hotel before (and always been impressed), but I thought it was time to review it due to its consistency and excellence.... More

I like this hotel. A special holiday rate, plus high ratings, convinced us to stay here rather than one of the chain hotels on the interstate. Rooms are nicely appointed with quality furnishings that are a step above and we loved our corner end room with windows facing the campus. There’s plenty of room to move about and plenty of... More

I have attended theTeddy Bear Tea for several years with my daughter and granddaughter. This year we brought her 2 and 4 year old little brothers along. The host, Adam, at the tea was wonderful in helping us make this a great experience. Our little guy was a bit fretful as this was his usual "nap time". He carried him... More

The hotel room is nice BUT the room service totally stinks! I ordered twice once for lunch then again for dinner. Both were almost inedible. I will never do that again! Take my advice and walk around the beautiful town and eat somewhere else.

Always love working with Hans and the Staff at the Hotel; however, this time they outdid themselves! We held the premiere for the documentary film about James Owens (1969-1973 football pioneer), "Quiet Courage" at the conference center. Andreas and Brooks were our event coordinators. They made sure that everything was perfect, right down to the popcorn machine and movie candy.... More

Very friendly staff, a great location, nice rooms. There wasn't anything to complain about this hotel. Correction, the heater was unbelievably loud. Other than that it was great. Can't really say you have a view; either a parking lot or a street. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The lounge was nice, can't tell if it was quiet or not, as... More

Dear Gordon H: Thank you so much for your kind review of The Hotel at Auburn University and for sharing your experience with us on Trip Advisor. As so many of our guests have noted, our location on the AU campus, across the street from iconic Samford Hall gives us a location in Auburn that is second to none. However,... More
