Second time I've stayed here in the past 12 months. The lobby area is delightful, but the rooms are very "tired" and the housekeeping mediocre. Also, both times that I've stayed here, we've had problems with TOO MUCH noise in the hallway and adjoining rooms. On this particular trip, we were next to room with preteens who were up until... So I reviewed The Hotel at Auburn last time I stayed, and it was less than satisfactory. We went for Camp War Eagle and decided to give it a second try since it was so convenient. Much better this time. Room was very nice and clean. We had an enjoyable stay. We will stay here again.

Nice building and location, but the staff is neither well trained nor well supervised. I've stayed in probably 500 hotels in my life. This is the first one that ever failed to clean my room during a multi-night stay. I informed the front desk at 6 pm that my room had not been cleaned and I was told "okay, do... More

The hotel is located so close to the university you could probably walk. It's absolutely beautiful inside, and the staff was amazing, and very friendly. Most of the staff are students who are majoring in hotel management and hospitality

Stayed there to take a training course at Auburn University. Wonderful facilities, filled with history and a very welcoming staff. Clean, spacey and comfortable rooms with the best cable service I have ever experienced. Walking distance from the historical Toomer's Drugs and Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Love this hotel, and special location. Unfortunately the servuce helps to reinforce stereotyoes that Southerners don't think fast. Staff very friendly but they need a crash course in basic Hospitality and how to focus on serving their guests. Air conditioner so noisy we slept without it. Simple room service order incomplete. We didn't get the glasses of ice water we... More

This is THE place to stay at Auburn - it is on campus and so convenient to everything, why not...if you can get a reservation. Reservations for game days fill up the prior year as well as the dates for Camp War Eagle, Parents Weekend, etc. It is not the most amazing hotel ever... toilet runs, small rooms, delayed room... Have stayed here 3 times now...and if you can get a room, you should stay here whenever in the area. Certain weekends (including home football games and special events like Graduation) are very, very tough to snag a reservation, but try. Lovely hotel, entrance, lobby, restaurant, rooms, and (no surprise, since you're in the South) very friendly staff.

The hotel was the last word in old world southern charm. As you pull into the front drive and step out, the aroma of jasmine is strong in the air. While only a few years old, it had the feeling of traveling back in time to the best part of the old south. Great architecture and felt but not seen... More

I've stayed at The Hotel at Auburn University several times. The most recent being the first weekend in May 2015. I've never had a bad stay. Until this past weekend, I've never had to wait to check-in. This particular weekend, the front desk had only one person working so there was a bit of a wait. The hotel was full... More
