Unfortunately, my trip was for a funeral, so my main concern was a warm bed and a place to rest. The hotel is brand new, and is apparent - by the modern furniture, cleanliness, and a few things still under construction. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express first week of October on business. Could not believe what I was seeing they had plactic up in the loby and breakfast area they were doing some work the wall paper was striped off the walls and the sheetrock all covered with BLACK MOLD all they did was paint the sheetrock and recover the... more

We visited Atmore for one night to attend a funeral. We've traveled to the Atmore area many times and were pleased that a new Holiday Inn Express had opened. The hotel had only been open one week prior to our stay. They were still working out a lot of problems which is to be expected. Example - no ice machines... more
