When we checked in we specifically asked for a quiet room. We were placed in a room on the second floor next to a family with small children. In fact our rooms had connecting doors, so the noise just came right through our door. There were also people running back and forth in the room above us. We heard all... more

I-20 bypasses Anniston to the south, so most of the area's hotels are in Oxford, your typical suburban area with a mall and a lot of chain hotels. But if you're willing to go a couple of miles north of the interstate, you'll find much more interesting accommodations at The Victoria. The Victoria Country Inn is right on Anniston's main... more

The Victorian Country Inn is a beautiful estate that has a main house with luxurious rooms. The House has added on a 2 story 25+ rooms much like a resort which over looks a pool and a cottage that has some of the most beautiful art work by a famous artist. I stayed in a regular built on room. The... more

The Victoria Inn offered a discount rate of $72 plus tax for those cyclists participating in the Cheaha Challenge. The rooms were extremely clean and the room was nicely decorated. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will be back next year. more

The house is lovely and the restaurant is very nice, however, lodging in the inn is the same as that of a typical MOTEL. For $89 per night, we were in a main level room that was dated, mildewy, noisy and opened to the outside near the parking lot. The walls were paper thin, we could hear the neighboring guests... more

This is a charming place to stay, with fairly modern rooms behind an 1890 Victorian home (where the nicest rooms are). Our standard room was a bit worn looking, but was excellent value and had a certain charm. The restaurant, located next to the sitting room in the old house, is furnished with antiques and serves truly excellent food (and... more

After driving for eight hours with our one-year-old, we were eagerly anticipating our stay at the Victoria County Inn. We had read the reviews on TripAdvisor, and were convinced that this inn would be our best bet. We were right...the hotel is on lovely grounds very close to downtown Anniston, which seems a very nice town. The room was spacious,... more

Dinner at the Victoria Country Inn is of extremely high quality & not gut busting portions. The Inn has interesting features but our daughter's room was very dark even with the sun shining. Beware the showers - the arcane controls can produce a flame thrower like experience & shoot you across the bathroom. The staff are friendly & efficient. more

At $79.00 per night for corporate rate, it's a bargain!! The rooms were nice and cozy, but the real deal is the restaurant. The best place in town. The Grilled Shrimp and Portabella appetizer was delish!! The Scallop and Rizotto appetizer was a close second. The male wait and cook staff were wonderful. The female staff lacks manners and were... more

The Victoria Country Inn was a great experience. The main part of the inn is an old house, converted with rooms and a restaurant. A large modern inn is built behind the main building. The rooms are nicely furnished. There is a nice pool, with various areas for outside seating. There is a breakfast buffet in the main inn with... more
