My husband and I arrived early inthe afternoon, and we're greeted nicely at the front of the hotel. Along with that, they had these refreshing beverages right when you first walk in on the left hand side. It was a warm, sunny day and it was really nice having those beverages. It's the little things that count. Not only that,... More

This trip was my first time back to DC since a family road trip when I was 10, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights. I think the Hotel was a huge reason why I enjoyed my trip so much! The number one reason was because it is very convenient! I originally... More

Very nice hotel. Quality is what I expect of the Hilton brand. It is central to Dupont Circle, Georgetown and Adams Morgan. Easy access to metro though the 4 block walk does take about 10 minutes. Booked this hotel with a Priceline bid. $150 + $30 in fees, so $180 total. Not bad for a Friday night in DC. Stayed... More

I stayed here several years ago and the hotel, for a number of reasons, left a lot to be desired. But on my most recent trip, I had a MUCH better experience. Much of the hotel has been renovated and the staff seemed much nicer. I had a corner room with a wonderful view - it was quiet and comfortable.... More

Many of my reviews are based upon my experience organizing a conference at the hotels I review. My average stay at a hotel is five to seven nights and many times it can include multiple stays in a short period of time. For those of you, who think planners get upgraded to the presidential suites, think again. Hotels are the... More

Thank you for reviewing the Washington Hilton. Although you note many of the hotel's strong suits, it's disappointing to hear you were not 100% satisfied with your experience. The Washington Hilton greatly values our small meeting planners and the business you provide the hotel. We do have wifi in our guest rooms and as you note complimentary wifi is available... More

A decent Hilton, close to Dupont Circle so well located for most of DC. The rooms and general areas were pleasant and clean. The only down-side was that the pool was closed for the winter. It was understandable,as it is an outdoor pool, but the hotel's website advertises its pool (or did at time of booking) without mentioning this. More

Thanks for taking the time to review the Washington Hilton. Glad you enjoyed your stay, but so sorry for the misunderstanding on the pool. Our pool is outdoors and opens May 1 each season to allow our guests a very unique experience for downtown DC. Pleae return this summer or on your next trip to DC to the Washington Hilton. More

My wife and I stayed here in April for a conference. We liked the location as it is a 7 minute walk to the DuPont circle metro station. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Food at the hotel is all very spendy and they charge you to use the hotels WiFi in your room. More

The bed set-up was great, comfortable mattress, comforter, and pillows. I got a great night's sleep, which is the most important thing for me in the a hotel. The decor in the public areas is just okay; the hallways look kind of dated, but the room furnishings were fine. I heard my neighbors sometimes, but it wasn't a problem. The... More

This is a large hotel, well-suited for large conferences. If it looks familiar, it's because many political and other large events are held there. As you would expect for a Hilton, the place is clean. The staff is attentive and courteous. The rooms are comfortable though small. We stayed in a room with a King size bed, and there was... More
