My partner and I spent a celebratory overnight here this past weekend. Everything - from valet parking to check out - went very smooth. Our room was fantastic and had a view of the Lincoln and WWII memorials in the distance. The room was quiet, comfortable, and spacious, and the king bed put us right to sleep after a long... More

We spent three nights at the Willard in March. It was long, hard decision to determine where to stay. Prices are steep in DC and despite timing our visit towards the end of the week, it was still expensive to stay close to the tourist sites. As Ambassador members, we took advantage of a free night coupon to help defer... More

My wife and I stayed at the Willard for the DC Rock'N Roll marathon 2013. The staff were incredible. They actually seemed to be happy and caring people. They were very responsive to our requests.... the architecture and decor are very nice, old world. The AC/heat was good. We paid a very discount price, and perhaps in return received one... More

I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights on business. My overall impression is that the hotel has great facilities, great rooms, great service, and a great location. It is near the Washington Mall, the Whitehouse, etc. It is about 15 minutes from Reagan National by car (barring traffic). I used the fitness center twice, once in the... More

I know that the cost of the Willard may be prohibitive to many but if you get the chance stay here! Location and attention to detail is worth it. So many hotels price themselves due to location and do not pull their weight when it comes to the really important things... making you comfortable when away from home. The Willard... More

The Willard is an expensive hotel - but that is actually just part of it's character. The location is perfect, just a block away from the White House, and across the street from the Treasury building. It's also very close the National Mall, and the various memorials there. The rooms are classy, but not modern, and are impeccably clean. The... More

Beautiful historical hotel. Perfect location to tour the Whitehouse and walk the Mall. Worth the price...who wants to drive in DC traffic? Rooms are what I expect from a top notch hotel as someone who has stayed at multipke Ritz Carltons and Waldorfs. I went here with my wife for our anniversary and we both had a wonderful experience. Staff... More

Not only the hotel itself, but its location - a block away from the White House - makes it a perfect choice for D.C. The lobby of the hotel may not be the source of the word lobbyist, but it was where President Grant came for a break from the White House. The lovbby is also a great place for... More

If you're visiting DC for the first time, this hotel is a must. Historical and yet not stodgy, the staff is warm and helpful. The Cafe du Parc has a great breakfast. The Corner Bakery Cafe is on the corner of 14 and F (out the back entrance to the Willard) and has a great selection of breakfast items. The... More

Did Thanksgiving weekend last year and Christmas weekend this year. This hotel is top shelf. We will continue to go there on special occasions. We love the splendor of the architecture and its history is inspiring. 1. Room are especially nice, well laid out and the room temperature control was spot on. Rooms are large, very quiet and also well... More
