We stayed in the Willard for three nights and had a very good time. Our room was excellent, the staff was very pleasant, room services were more than adequate and of course the location is perfect for a short stay in Washington. The only drawback is the amount of money they ask for the internet service in their business center... more

We stayed at the Willard one night before moving on to our convention hotel further away from the Mall area. We found it beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the history behind it and walked through the small museum in the back. Our room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast at the Parc was delicious, very reasonably priced... more

Stayed here for a Staurday and Sunday on the way back from a wedding, and loved every second. I joined the ambassador programme for $150 back in May before a trip to another Intercontinental Hotel, but we still had the 'free weekend night voucher' that covers the second night of a 2 night weekend stay. The room (upgarded as part... more

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. My husband was attending a conference across the street and that hotel was booked, so the Willard was taking the overflow at the same discounted rate. This discounted rate was verified at the time of the reservations, but when we checked out, they had overcharged us by $560. They also charged us... more

My wife and I stayed at the Willard last week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Based on reviews, I was uncertain what to expect. We found the overall experience very satisfying and would certainly recommend this hotel to those wanting to be in downtown DC for either business or sight-seeing. The location is unbeatable. Our trip from Reagan National was only... more

...if you can afford it. We stayed here for two nights using our Priority Club points (the only perk to a husband gone almost half the year on business.) This cost us 80,000 points for the two nights. We arrived about 2pm and were able to check-in immediately. I agree with the earlier poster who stated that Priority Club members... more

Location: block or 2 away from White house. 5-10 minute walk to metro. Still you have to walk and walk and walk in DC everywhere pretty much. Lobby: beautiful, but kind of old-smelling. Used hotwire: reservation for 2 adults one child. Given room with one king bed. Told that that was what hotwire ordered for us. Multiple weddings at that... more

The Willard is unbeatable for appearance (outward, inside, rooms), elegance, location to the White House, and history. My stay was just wonderful. The rooms are very clean and comfortably appointed, with great beds, furniture and flat-screen televisions. The lobby is gorgeous. The concierge service is above and beyond and the bell service almost matches this. I was disappointed with the... more

I'm a huge fan of Intercontinental hotels, having stayed in ones from Atlanta to Warsaw and many places in between. As usual, the service was truly excellent and up to Intercontinental standards, but while the housekeeper was effective, the overall room maintenance standards are lacking and my room was certainly tired, with items that were frayed, stained, torn, discolored, etc.... more
