We had a Jr. Suite on the top floor room 1200. From our room we could see a quarter of the White House and the Washington and Jefferson Memorials. Our room was great. We had a parlor and separate bedroom with a marble bath with tub and shower. I spent alot of time checking out hotels in Washington and could... More

This hotel is worth it for the lobby and Peacocke Alley and it's closeness to everything.Staff were attentive, helpful and amiable.I was very disappointed that afternoon tea is only served on set days but worse than that is the fact that this is not written up any where. More

We had one of the newly renovated suites on the top floor. Gorgeously decorated but the one next to the lift shaft is noisy. We were moved to one further away and it was perfect. This is now one of my top hotels in the world - great atmosphere, fantastic concierge service, beautiful room with spectacular views of the Washington... More

The hotel is incredibly well located - near sites , restaurants and Metro. I was there on business so I am not sure about "value". The rooms were well appointed but walls seemed thin and I had a couple of leaky bathroom fixtures. The staff was helpful. Lobby and business office need an update. The daily paper was awesome and... The hotel has an old time charm if one is into this (I do not). The service is excellent and the light dinner at the outdoors resturant was very good my room was small but comfortable. It felt old although many amanties were updated. I guess it was not my style but otherwise it's a good hotel for this price... More

Spectacular location, near the White House. Am impressive hotel, with great service. We requested an early check-in if possible and, sure enough, our room was ready when we arrived at 11am. The room was spacious and well equipped. I slept better than I ever have done in any hotel - it was so comfortable! Breakfast was included so we had... More

I had booked this hotel through my american express fine hotels and resorts program and was a bit concerned with some of the reviews I had read on trip advisor. I even tried to change my reservation when I read the bit about the beds. I can promise you a fabulous experinece, the staff was amazing, the rooms were lovely... More

I unexpectedly arrived at the Willard Intercontinental at the end of a long Atlanta-DC jaunt. It was refreshing and restored my faith in historic hotels. The front desk greeting was awesome. Even though I had booked late and the hotel was packed, I was told I'd be upgraded. Suite! (Pun intended.) the bellman who brought my bags up was super... More

We had a great stay here last weekend. PROS Great location Large recently renovated rooms Amazing breakfast buffet and the best home made chips in the bar Good service CONS Had a small problem with room category and rate but reception resolved it quickly. I stayed here for seven nights during my business trip between 17th to 23rd april. Metro station is just within walking distant. Concierge being helpful in helping us to book nice restaurant near by the hotel. Convenient shops just a stone away. They serve nice breakfast buffet with finest ingredient they can get i suppose! Love it so much! You... More
