The hotel is very clean. Close to the Capitol and Union Station. If you choose to be energetic and walk all the way to the Washington Monument your in for a very long walk to say the least. The monument tours were close by at Union Station. It does take some getting used to finding your way around the streets... More

The overall experience was somewhat positive and somewhat negative. I will just outline the aspects of the hotel and positives/negatives. Check-in: The staff at the front door were kind and nice, however at the check-in there was one person who just basically ignored us. The other employee at the desk was nice. We arrived at 4pm (the check in time)... More

We got a decent deal through Hotwire and took a chance. The location of the hotel is great for the Capitol and Union Station. We found the hotel to be generally well-kept, with a pleasant enough decor. Our corner room was the perfect size for two, and was not crowded, even with a king bed. The staff that we interacted... I booked this hotel on Expedia for $99/night. Overall average stay. The location was convenient to Union Station and for sightseeing purposes. Valet parking is a steep $43/day. Fortunately, we found a $10 lot about a block away. The website claims that the hotel was renovated in 2009. If you consider new carpet and furniture a renovation then so be... More

I had my doubts when I walked in. The lobby looked a bit overdone to me, several levels, chi chi artwork behind the desk. But within minutes my attitude changed. The staff was so welcoming, in a relaxed, authentic way. Check in was fast and efficient. The good feeling continued when I opened the door to a spacious, clean and... More

Cleanliness - Hotel room, bathroom, beds were very clean. Location - Excellent location close to Union Station of the Metro that can take you to many attractions, shopping malls, theaters, etc. Service - People amability was excellent. Parking - Very expensive $43.00 a night for valet but I did not know about any other parkings. Has a lot of places... More

I stayed here for one night only after reading other reviews, and after receiving a really good rate. Staff were generally friendly and helpful - special mention must be made of the doorman, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful and not the least bit condescending. The registration staff were, well, reserved and offered no help or information. The first thing... More

Landed at the Washington Court for 3 nights in July with a winning bid on Priceline. Most of the reviews I found seemed older and somewhat negative so thought I would add my thoughts. First of all, staff was stellar (and believe me when I admit that I am the type of traveller who expects good service in a business... More

I have stayed at the Washington Court Hotel twice, in February 2010 and July 2010. I would strongly suggest someone staying there to request a view of the US Capitol, instead of the interior facing rooms. Try to get at least up to floor 12, as there could be visual obstructions at lower level. The hotel is nicely appointed, has... More

My sister and I stayed for four nights in this hotel. All of the staff was kind and helpful! We forgot to sign our check for breakfast the first day, but they didn't seem too bothered and said they would get us to sign the next day when we told them that evening! The front desk took the time to... More
