The hotel is conveniently located to Capitol Hill and the Metro. However, the rooms & bathrooms need a major renovation and cleaning. The rooms look shabby, including the bathrooms and were not very well kept or clean. It was quiet and the staff was nice. Room service menu was very limited, expensive and the food was mediocre at best. However,... More

Don't get me wrong . The hotel is fine . Good service ,and clean rooms albeit somewhat noisy . We heard doors slamming shut all night. The area the hotel is located is not the greatest . We took a walk and it wasn't long before we were greeted by many homeless sleeping on the sidewalk . There is a... More

This hotel was a chosen Express Deal from Priceline and what a deal. Two blocks from Union Station. Arrived 2hrs. early and our rooms where ready. The staff was excellent and the hotel was a sight to see by itself. A 20 min. walk to all the museums and another 5 min. to the White House. The bathroom was large... More

We found this hotel on Groupon and stayed in the Capitol Building view room. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location right near the Capitol Mall, Smithsonian, Judiciary Square, and Georgetown Law. The neighborhood felt very safe even at night, and we were comfortable walking... I stayed here for a work meeting, and later moved to the Hotel Monaco for a personal night. I wished I'd stayed at the latter the entire time. Washington Court was decent, but a bit run down (especially for what they charged). Service was just ok. It was close to my meeting, but next time, I'd rather walk or cab... More

We stayed at the Washington Court hotel over Labor Day weekend to sightsee with our kids. The location is perfect! An easy walk to the museums and monuments; even for the kids. The hotel has great views and was very well kept, modern and clean. We felt that the restaurant was overpriced but there's a fantastic little restaurant across the... More

The Washington Court Hotel on Capitol Hill was a top-of-the-line experience. Everything from the friendly and professional doormen to the superbly appointed rooms had the feel of luxury at a reasonable price. The hotel has a very unique skylight.

I love this hotel and I would return. The location is excellent, Union Station and the Capital are within walking distance. Our room was on the 16th floor with a beautiful view of the Capital. Don't forget to ask for it!!!! The staff was helpful when asked about restaurants or information on museums. The bellmen were exceptional. There is parking... More

Stayed here many times. While it is conveniently located next to our corporate office, the rooms are less than desirable for two people. Never enough hangers in the room (military so always many uniforms), no in-room refrigerator unless reserved in advance (needed for some medication), and this room location was less than ideal (an 01 so on each floor it... Stayed here 2/21-2/22 for an overnight local getaway. The hotel is older and was very nice and clean. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. The hotel is in the heart of Capital Hill and many attractions and restaurants are in walking distance. There was a snow storm in the area and it was hard to get a cab or Uber... More
