My husband and I stayed at the Beacon and had a wonderful experience. The staff is pleasant and professional, which has a great impact on your stay with the Beacon. The room was large and modern, the brunch was great and we never waited long for the valet to bring our car. Thanks Lisa and Melissa!! We will see you... More

rooms tend to be on the smaller side, but are clean and quiet. Parking is a bit pricey, but that's standard for DC. Overall, it's a nice place close to metro and lots of bars and restaurants. My only advice is to avoid brunch there. As buffets go it's fine, but it's a buffet. And kinda pricy. There are better... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, yes our location is very central and greatly appreciated... We are sorry you thought out brunch was pricy yet if offers such variety and freely flowing champagne., surely three are many options in the area, as we are within walking distance to so many. Our brunch has been rated top... More

I was really looking forward to staying at the hotel, until I realized that using Expedias mobile app the days defaulted to the current night. (I changed the date to the correct one but the search didn't go through). So immediately after booking I noticed that I booked the hotel for tonight, a night that I wasn't in DC. I... More

We are looking to resolve this, and should shortly, our records indicate your reservation came in at 7:32pm and an agent from Expedia called at 10:56pm to cxl his reservation. She was told by (PM Supervisor) that it was too late to cxl. We are looking to double check Expedia's records as they indicate differently. Hector Torres General Manager More

This was my first stay and first impressions have a lot of influence. The pleasant, helpful front desk staff started thing off right. There is a pretty decent bar on site. But no chance to try the dining room. The room was large and comfortable, set up like an extended stay facility. There was a living room with a TV,... More

You know, usually I say too much, but today, for once, I will let my art speak for me, let's just say that Beacon Hotel has been my shinning beacon on a hill, never thought I would ever say this, but OMG Ronald Reagan you are now my hero the way you were a hero to my father Fikremariam Million,... So I don't want this to sound like a negative review, but there are some negatives to this hotel. Let me start by saying I don't travel much, when I do travel it is mostly for work and it is never in major metros like Washington DC. As this was my first trip to the city, it was hard to... More

I've been staying at the Beacon a few times a year for the past 5 or 6 years. I find it to be a nice place to stay and the staff there is helpful. Jim takes care of me at the bar and Steve at the front desk sets me up. Whenever I am in town for business I always... More

I stayed at The Beacon Hotel for work purposes. The rooms we're very spacious and clean, and the staff was very nice especially Melissa & Fransico at the Front Desk and Nebil, Ismael and Muhammed at the door. The meeting space had a pleasant climate and comfortable seating; however the U-shape set-up in that room isn't ideal for presentations using... More

I am a professor of International Relations and was visiting Center for Strategic and International Relations. CSIS recommended Beacon Hotel, which is right in front of CSIS. It is a very convenient hotel for visiting the think tank environment in Washington DC. Service is fine. Food is fine. Rooms are spacious and fine. But, but, but, Beacon hotel needs to... More

We stayed in DC for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay at the Beacon. We picked this hotel because it was very close the National Geographic Museum. (It was one block away) We also selected it because it had a kitchen so that we could make our meals more affordable and stick to our dietary restrictions. The room (823)... More
