Our rate was 98.00/night and 30.00/night for garage parking. One of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in recently. Valets, concierge and housekeeping were very effecient and filled all of our requests promptly. 10 minute walk to the Lincoln Memorial, 15 minutes to the White House. I agree with all the other positive reviews that say how close the hotel is to major tourist points of interest. You are 2 blocks up from Constitution Avenue which constitutes the Washington Mall. great rooms with comfortable beds , large kitchen , flat panel TVs etc ......A bit outdated but very clean and well kept hotel . only a short walk to lincoln memorial , vietnam wall , reflecting pool , washington monument , white house etc etc . The location is good, as you're only a few blocks from the Lincoln Memorial and the White House, plus it is only a block from GW University. The rooms were ok, but my ground floor room had a view of a building site, and the kitchen was very old and basic. It badly needs to be updated. Having said that... more
