We really enjoyed staying at The River Inn! It has a very good location, close to the metro, close to grocery stores and with a kitchen you can eat in the room and save money. The staff was always pleasant and helpful and the room was immaculate with nice linens and felt upscale. It's a very good value for DC.

We were pleased with the hotel. Two blocks from Trader Joes & Whole Foods to stock fridge. The staff was extremely attentive. Convenient having restaurant in hotel. Just north of Lincoln Memorial, couple blocks from Potomac & Georgetown. Great experience.

An excellent choice for families with children who are looking for a comfortable place. Great location; very friendly and helpful staff; big room with everything you need and even more. My daughter loved the view of planes taking off/landing every couple of minutes.

I stayed in this hotel in January 2013 for 3 days. The room was nice. Bathroom was ok. We've been staying at this hotel once a year in the Spring for about 10 years. It has a small feel and is actually located in a residential neighborhood.
