We stayed over the Easter break. The hotel is in a great location within easy walk of most locations. My only complaint was with the concierge lounge. I found the staff there to be very inefficient and not that interested in providing service. We went down for breakfast on our first morning to find that nearly all the food was... More

The hotel is a perfect business hotel in a great location that allows you to see the famous spots of Washington in (almost) walking distance. I enjoyed also the bar and the gymn next morning. Friendly staff finally completed the very good impression.

I was in DC to catch Gato Barbieri at the Howard and stayed here. Well all was going smoothly for the day/evening and I return back to the property, crash, wake up the following AM. All good. Depart and learn that I forgot my glasses. Well, I stop along the road and call the hotel. They take down my contact... More

Lots to rave about with this hotel: super clean, great amenities and location. The staff is top notch and Jody at the bar is a great guy and awesome server! The lobby can get a bit noisy but the parlors off to the side are a nice touch. Wish the concierge room was open during weekends for when I stay... More

Our daughter had a volleyball tourney at the Washington convention center and wanted to stay close. We found this hotel and the rate when we made our reservation was reasonable. This was a very nice and clean hotel. It was within walking distance to several restaurants. The hotel staff did allow several of the parents and girls from the team... More

We only stayed two nights (we were in town for the Cherry Blossom 10-miler) but enjoyed our stay. All staff we encountered were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, self-parking was easy. The room was quiet--interior room 1536. We enjoyed the President's Sports Bar a few times--food/drinks were good and large screen tv's let us enjoy the NCAA games.... More

We can honestley say we have never stayed in a cleaner hotel. From greeting us at reception through to security taking us onto the roof for photo's and the chamber maid... More

We loved this hotel. My husband was on business and I "played" for 5 days. Located within walking distance of the sites...maybe 10 blocks or so but if you're a walker, wonderful way to get exercise. The metro entrance is about 2 blocks away..easy access from hotel. Metro easy system to use. We loved our room...had an end unit which... More

Gal at the Front desk found a room that suited our family better when we checked in and the hotel was practically full. Thank you! We really appreciated that. Room is expensive but well appointed with DC-inspired decor.

I'm in the middle of a 5 night business stay, and it's been a mostly good experience with just a couple of minor annoyances. Visually, the hotel lobby is a treat, with lots of great-looking seating areas, including some that are delightfully Arabian Nights-ish, and my room is very plush and comfortable. Pluses include: * comfortable, well-appointed room * great... More
