Recently stayed at this hotel after contracting it for a large group sight unseen and based upon others recommendations. The hotel exceeded my expectations in several areas with only a few disappointments. Checked in early and the front desk was more than helpful in getting me into my selected room type early after a long morning of travel. The room... More

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, my room (16th floor) had been recently been refurbished in a nice manner, and unlike a lot of US hotels the lodging area felt light and inviting. Staff were attentive and helpful. The only downside was that the wifi was hopeless much of the time.

Stayed during a large conference friendly efficient staff, quiet rooms, nice size for city hotel. Great location with metro stop 2 blocks away in a safe part of town. Surrou ded by food for every budget and shopping for every budget. Great value, highly recommended, and easy address to remember for cabs!

I was here for a conference and the hotel is right beside the Walter E Washington Convention Center and about a 10 min walk from the verizon center. The area is very easy to walk around. The hotel lobby is large, loud and busy, it wasn't my favorite part of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and updated with Federal... More

Great location, walk everywhere. Great facilities, sports bar, Starbucks, and the best gym. Rooms were spacious and modern, and have the best bed I have ever slept on. The staff were great too. Laundry was expensive, but there is Toms Laundry 200m up the road. Highly recommended.

The check-in experience all the way to the end of the trip was fantastic. It is located in such a convenient place as well as a safe place. The staff was great and the beds are comfortable. Not my favorite pillows, but it's ok because I had my own. It also has the best fitness center that I have ever... More

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the valet staff is sweet as can be, the hotel is magnificent, and the bar is scrumptious. The room we stayed in was so modern which is my style, everything was we'll updated and kept up with. All this being said I would go back again and again, except for the fact that... More

I stayed at this hotel for the location. It was excellent for walking to many areas of business in DC. Metro was nearby. The bed was very comfortable, the room rather plain. I don't think that any real views are possible in this location, but i could be wrong. I had a view of a parking lot. The hotel was... More

I stay in this hotel when working with Washington DC clients - and it is always a good experience. My rooms have been spacious and clean and, almost always, upgraded since I am a Platinum Marriott member. Unlike others, I had no issues at all with the internet - it worked perfectly. I do think it would be helpful, however,... More

I was very pleased with our 6 day stay at the Renaissance. The staff was quite accommodating. We flew in on a red eye flight which brought us into town quite early and the hotel allowed us into our room by 9:00 am!! We were so appreciative! We also enjoyed take out appetizers from the lounge and the staff packed... More
