Meal catered for group was high priced and they did not keep the coffee or other hot beverages filled up. Set up was not the best. I would suggest other options for that. Very clean room - quiet - good help for luggage - gift shop has maps of DC for reasonable price.

Ok it was a good hotel I spent 6 nights. Service was good. But it needs some up grades. For the price restaurant was awlful. Always standing in line. Breakfast very expensive for offerings. Has Starbucks but it always had line and waiting. For price should offer at least continental break. Cleaning service was very good. Parking guys great. Rooms... More

Dear Jeremy O, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our hotel. We appreciate your feedback about our beverage and food offerings. I apologize that you had to wait in line for breakfast. Unfortunately, our breakfast restaurant is under renovation and it has take a bit longer to take care of all our discoverers in our... More

I spent 5 nights for a combination college visits with my daughter and conference attendance at the hotel. Service at check-in wonderful, at the bell/concierge desk surly, at the restaurant wonderful, at the bar surly and curt for 2 nights and wonderful for 1 night. Health club excellent. I expect more consistency for ~$300 per night. As a female traveling... More

Dear bostonian899, Thank you so much for your feedback about your recent stay at our hotel. I certainly remember taking my daughter to visit colleges - exciting times! I appreciate your feedback about our inconsistency in service. I have shared your feedback with our Front Office Manager and Director of Restaurants to share with their teams to insure we "knock... I stay here once or twice a year on business, and every stay has been superior. The rooms are nicely set up, not spa-like of course, but very comfortable nevertheless. Extremely nice bedding, but which I mean the beds themselves. The HVAC works well and one can run the fan full time which both aids air circulation and avoids the... More

After a long day of travel and some torture from the airlines I was beat. I arrived at the Renaissance pretty worn out. In the past I have loved their service so my expectations were high. Matthew greeted me from the registration desk. He knew I was worn out and was super accommodating and fast. He had me registered on... More

I came to this Renaissance Hotel regularly for many years, ending about a decade ago. So I had an image in mind that was fine but utilitarian. It is soooooo much better now. My room was great, the neighborhood is cleaned up and well lit. The hotel is convenient to the convention center, the AAMC, and lots of restaurants. The... More

For 300 + a night one would hope for better than this. There are many choices in Washington DC and this hotel would not be my first choice. In fact, I have stayed at this property many times and this particular stay was the least satisfying. First, the rooms are ok, just ok. Second, the staff is nice enough, and... More

Dear FlashLosAngeles, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our hotel. I certainly understand your frustration that your colleague was able to enter the club lounge as a courtesy and you paid for the priveledge. Our reception staff completes a random "surprise and delight" experience for guests each night. I'm certain your colleague was one of... More

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. I highly recommend it and would stay here again. When I checked-in my Marriott Rewards status earned me an upgrade to a corner suite, which was generously sized. It was L-shaped with separate living and sleeping areas. The concierge lounge was surprisingly large and offered generous work spaces and a well... More

I stayed here while attending a conference at the hotel. The whole place seems to have been recently renovated and the rooms are very nice. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and accommodating- from the front door, front desk, concierge room, conference, and housekeepers. I really liked the small snack shop near the elevators and the concierge room.... More

We stayed here overnight for a conference we were the speaker for. From the minute you get out of the car you feel well taken care of! Check-in was very quick and personal. They answered all our questions, gave us a map of the area and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed on the 16th floor facing... More
