Our room was small but nice. This particular room was down a small hallway off the main hallway which made it quieter. Free WIFI in the lobby. The lobby is small and only has eight chairs. The Hotel is very close to the Metro, and the usual Starbucks, Au Bon Pain and shopping nearby. More

We recently booked this hotel on Priceline for a rate of $170 + tax and parking. After a long day of travelling, I was given a luke warm reception during the check in process. I couldn't help but wonder if it was due to the Priceline booking. Upon entering the room with my husband and 4 year old, I noticed... More

This is an excellent hotel with a few minor flaws. The room was confortable and clean. The bathroom was equally nice with plenty of towels, hot water and toiletries. Room service was fast and tasty. Over all the service was very good, but one big exception marred the ranking for the hotel. On the first day of my stay I... More

We stayed here for 4 nights on an East Coast trip On arrival the hotel had upgraded us to a Suite Oh the joy!! It was so well appointed, clean and comfortable As has been said on the site before the food is pricey so we gave that a miss but the hotel and staff(especially the concierge ) were all... More

The accommodations are very nice -- comfortable, spacious room; nice bathroom; quiet; got a great night's sleep. Restaurant prices are steep and food is only so-so. When I got home, the hotel sent an electronic receipt for a second night's stay (it said: "number of nights:2"). I was only there one night. It took me nearly an hour on the... More

This hotel is in an ideal location. Walking distance to metro, great restaurants, White House, etc. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff and fastest room service ever. Rooms are extremely quiet, bedding is great. The one and only complaint I have is that there is not a safe in the room, but not to worry, you can check valuables in downstairs.... More

There are many hotels in Washington DC that have a proud history - Presidents' Inaugural Balls, etc. and The Mayflower is one of them. But there is nothing truly outstanding about this establishment. It is close to the White House mind you; you only need to take a ten minute stroll. There are also plenty of places to eat and... More

This was our second one-night Priceline stay over 10 years, but I have to say for such a short stay, a few things immediately stood out positively. Having used Priceline for many of my hotel stays over the years, I've noticed there is often some negative discrimination for Priceline guests whereby you don't get the same level of service from... I had high expectations for the Mayflower that were not met. Rooms are small and amenities were similar to what you would find at a Holiday Inn. They limited the rooms to 3 towels? In the lounge, the wait staff was pretty slow. We found one waiter who was pretty good. Wireless service was extremely limited (AT&T ). I had... More

Attended a business conference in May 2012. The staff and the hotel amenities were of consistently high quality. Conference service was as good as any I've attended. I was a bit surprised that I was placed in a handicapped accesible room. Hopefully this didn't deny the features to someone who needed them. No bath, just a large shower. I don't... More
