4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This is an Inn with two sides, the historic and renovated. I stayed in a renovated room, which was spacious enough, nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Although I was attending a conference at the Marriott a block away, I don't like 1000 room monsters and windows facing an atrium rather than the outside. This property had good breakfast, very nice staff... More

This hotel has great character. The design is a mix of old and new with a cute courtyard where you can relax for some fresh air. It was a good deal for what we got. However, a few caveats are in order. 1) The room was not aired out when we got there and it was not just stuffy but... More

We stayed here Father's Day weekend while visiting our son. Couldn't believe the price for a brand-new, elegant hotel in a major U.S. city! Our room (#301), at the back of the new section, was sparkling, very quiet, and everything was brand-new. Very comfortable queen-size bed, gorgeous bathroom, in-room A/C controls so you can adjust to your comfort level. (We... More

The Morrison Clark – The good and the bad The Good, or sort of Location was fine. Pharmacy around the corner. Not far from a Metro station. We stayed in the brand new section. Still smelled of fresh paint. So much so, our door stuck to the door frame. The lobby was beautifully done with stylish lighting. Not sure about... More

Stayed at the hotel for an extended weekend during the Memorial Day holiday. The location is perfect, staff was helpful, and the room was clean. This hotel has a unique charm that is different from your typical big box hotel. The only issue I had is there wasn't an iron or an iron board already in the room so had... More

Dcoolbro, Spring is wonderful time to visit DC and to experience our hotel's perfect location which enables you to walk to all the sites of the city. I'm sorry to hear your room did not have the iron/ironing board, as it is a standard amenity for all rooms. We dropped the ball but I'm confident it's been remedied. As you... More

Great location, clean, excellent staff - friendly and helpful. We had a quiet room with a comfortable bed. It was a "European" style room size yet very comfortable and included a safe and mini fridge. We received a great deal on the web and expected a smaller room. HOWEVER, not much clothes storage in the room; no shelves in the... More

I have stayed at the Morrison-Clark Inn many times over the past 8 years, mostly on business trips, Its location is ideal - close to the Convention Center, the Logan Square neighborhood I enjoy (highest revenue generating Whole Foods store in the nation!), easy walk to the White House and convenient access to several Metro stations. But my primary attraction... More

This is a beautifully restored historic mansion conveniently located only several blocks from the convention center and metro rail station and 2 blocks from an outstanding Italian restaurant while nearly next door to an informal Salvadoran grill. Lots of shopping, etc. and only a 15 minute walk to the National Mall. Nice bar, very quiet, with elegant restaurant currently only... More

This was my second stay at the Morrison-Clark. I first learned of it a few years back when friends took me there for dinner. That was such a fine experience both in its Victorian charm and excellent food and service that I decided to stay at the hotel on my next trip to Washington. Which I did, and thoroughly enjoyed...
