Can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating the staff is at this hotel. Everyone from the front desk to the concierge lounge attendant to the cleaning staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. Would not hesitate to stay here again...they really helped make our trip special.

My wife and I were planning a trip to D.C. and found a deal on this hotel on expedia. A few weeks before our trip my wife injured her back and we were not able to travel. I called the hotel to see if we could move the dates or cancel and the first time after 30 minutes on the... More

Good location and convenient for a recent family visit to Georgetown and DC sites. When I reserved, I noted that self-parking and valet parking are available for $36 and $40 respectively. Upon arrival, I was informed that there would be no self-parking available for the weekend. Okay, total of $80 parking for 2 days(!) and $8 more than expected for... More

Thank you for staying with us at the Washington Marriott Georgetown and acknowledging our great location and clean rooms. I do sincerely apologize for the construction noise nearby you experienced in the morning and the unavailability of self parking when you were here. I am working with our engineering team and have found out that all the noisy aspects of... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my husband and two teenaged daughters on April 17, 2014. When we arrived, the lobby was crowded with people. In spite of a long line, there was only a 10 minute wait for check-in. The standard room we booked wasn't available, so we were upgraded to a king suite, which was... More

I was there to work a conference. I travel to three or four hotels a year. This one was one of the best. My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was relaxing. The only bad thing I can say is that the room didn't get cold enough, but I like it really cold. The restaurant was good and the... More

My husband and I booked this hotel last minute using points on a Friday afternoon for a Friday night stay. We knew the location was right near the Ritz as we have previously stayed there. Check in was smooth, no problems. Upgraded to a corner room as a Platinum member. Room was large with a king bed, pull out sofa,... More

We are regular Marriott customers. We use Marriotts because we are never disappointed....and the same was true for this hotel. Nice location, friendly staff, welcoming lobby. Our only complaint was the price of parking. YIKES! and it was a tight squeeze once you got down there. On the other hand, once we parked the car, there was no need to... More

I was surprised to see a brand new hotel lobby - it looks great. Upon entering the lobby I was immediately greeted by the hotel staff. There was no wait to check in at the front desk. My general observation was that, compared to others, this Marriott has a greater number of staff members on hand in the lobby. This... More

My family and I recently checked in for a five night stay. Whatever problems previously existed with the Lobby are over. The lobby is now warm and inviting. The staff was overwhelming and gracious during our stay. While some may suggest the rooms are outdated, I have stayed in Ritz Carlton's where you could say the same. The beds were... More
