Very nice staff, very clean rooms with comfortable beds. towels were big and fluffy. Staff cleaned rooms every day and put plenty of towels in bathroom. Pool was great and warm. Staff was very helpful as well with directions to places to go visit.

Front desk staff not the most friendly (and I served as a front desk clerk back in college). Parking/welcoming staff hurried and unfriendly. Hotel is just blah. Well located for business on Capitol Hill. Close to good restaurants. Parking is astronomically priced. Conference internet connection terrible. Room was small but okay. Dirty drinking glasses and ice bucket were not replaced... More

Having had wonderful experiences at Hyatt's in the past we were very disappointed how ordinary the chain has become. Rooms were bland and small and the beds were very soft where we could not get a decent nights sleep. Hyatt's seem to be a level below your large chains whereas they used to be above.

This is your very typical Hyatt, and is in a convenient location for seeing the sights in Washington DC. The staff and hotel were just as one would expect, no complaints about them. Rooms were clean and fairly modern, with great AC. I would stay here again and would give a better review, with the exception of the following things:... More

Needed a Hotel room in D.C. for a weekend while visiting friends that lived in the capitol area. I was incredibly impressed with D.C. with how well it was kept and how walker friendly it was. My wife and I walked everywhere while we were there. Location is ideal as it is within a short walk of the capitol and... More

I stayed at this hotel for a business conference connected with visits to legislators. Its proximity to the Capitol made it ideal for this purpose. Its proximity to Union Station made it convenient to take the train in to DC. One quirky thing about the hotel is that the two banks of elevators go to different parts of each floor... More

Good location on Capital Hill and short taxi ride from Reagan National airport. But, for the price there are a lot nicer hotels in DC. Food was very average and same with service. Bed was quite hard - not comfortable. That said it is a Hyatt and generally a good hotel. So, I guess if the location is most important... More

Stayed here recently while attending a conference. Room was standard but very nice. Everything was clean. All staff members were polite and helpful. Food at the conference was EXCELLENT!! I did not eat at their restaurant but if it is the same chef, then I would recommend. Or if you are planning a conference, I can recommend the food. Well... More

You pay for the Ritz and you get the Holiday Inn. It's all about the location and you pay for it. Nice hotel, nothing fancy, Expensive restaurant with slightly above average food. The concierge was fantastic and extremely helpful. The rooms don't have a refrigerator or microwave and stay out of the hotel store as they gouge you on prices.... More
