Stayed there with sister and friend; and had a very enjoyable stay Within a 10-minute run from the Smithsonian museums, along which I ran for a total of 5 miles or so ( from hotel to Lincoln Memorial and back) Service is awesome at the Marriott - as usual; room spacious and clean. As usual, I was received with fruits... more

This is a hotel that comes up on Priceline all the time in DC (Capitol Convention Center Zone 3.5 Stars) We got 2 rooms in this hotel for 6 nights for 68.00 and saved a fortune. The location is great. 20 yards out the side door by their Starbucks is an elevator to the Metro Center, with 3 Lines. The... more

We stayed here for 2 nights while on a combo trip to New York & Washington DC. The service was excellent and the room was very nice, plus it is in a very convenient location to catch the subway or even walk to many of the sights/monuments. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip. The only negative... more

I stayed at this hotel for a mother-daughter trip with my 10 yr. old daughter along with my girlfriend and her daughter. You simply do NOT need a car if you stay at this hotel and plan to walk or ride the Metro to sightsee. If travelling to D.C. by plane, fly into Reagan National and take the Metro directly... more

The location of this hotel is GREAT. It is close to all the restaurants in Chinatown and within walking distance (about 10 minutes) of the Mall. The Metro is located right outside of the hotel. The lobby of the hotel is not elaborate but it does have a Starbucks and always has cold water with lemon or oranges. The indoor... more

Great hotel. Good sized rooms. Great flat screen TV. Great location - right by metro and blocks from White House and Mall. Good restaurants and stores nearby. As for the $35 valet parking - good parking close by for $20/day by Ford's theater. more

I stayed here in June of 2009 and overall for the price it was decent. PROS: -Location -Price ($70 a night) -Starbucks in the lobby CONS: -Parking is $35 a night even for a weekend -Bathroom wasn't cleaned up to par. There were several hairs on a towel and some mildew in the shower -Smallish rooms, although this is common... more

I stayed at this hotel from 6/13-6/17 and the location was excellent. It was close to everything. I easily walked to the White House and all of the Smithsonian Museums. Chinatown was only 5 blocks away. The Convention Center was a mere 15 minute walk. The hotel staff were nice, although I found that the cleaning staff was MORE nice... more

Marriott is centrally located near all of the monuments and the metro is only steps away. Beds are very comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. While the hotel is convenient to the monuments, it is rather isolated in the evening. Very few restaurants are nearby. One problem: ice machine on 8th floor was broken and soda machine remained "sold... more

This was my first stay at Marriott Metro Center and I found it very pleasant indeed. The service was prompt and friendly. The property was spotless and the room size was good. We were in a room with two queen beds. The location is hard to beat if you are in town as a tourist or a generalist in your... more
