Marriott Metro Center serves its purposes as a hotel central to Metro Center in DC and in the middle of everything. The hotel itself has renovated the rooms and upgraded beds; however, the renovation is what I call a quicky-one where many potential features were left off the list. Excellent hotel in a superb location, located within a couple of minutes walk to the excellent Washington Metro Center and several top notch restaurants. In house restaurants although pricey were good. Breakfast was too expensive, hence 4 stars! Rooms clean, well decorated and roomy however am now under pressure from partner to buy King Sized bed! more

This was our first trip to DC, and I couldn't imagine a better location than this hotel. Walk out the side door of the lobby and you are at the entrance to the Metro Center station. The location of this motel could not have been better. It is located right next to a metro that is on four lines. The beds are extrememly comfortable, the staff is courteous and helpful. We recently stayed at the Marriott Metro Center to do the 'tourist thing' while visiting my son.
