If you want a luxury 5 star experience than the Hilton is down the street but if you want great Value for your dollar than this hotel is what you're looking for.You wouldn't find a hotel in a better location at their low prices. Hotel Harrington is a little over two blocks from the Mall and all the museums. It's... More

On a budget?, business trip, need quick access to all your events and destinations in Washington D.C. then the Harrington offers everything you need. As a travel photographer I need to get in and out to my assignments with no hassles and wasted time. Staff is very helpful and know how to get me where I need to be. Basic... More

This hotel is like stepping back in time and I loved it! If you are looking for a posh, luxury experience this hotel is not for you. However, it was clean, priced well and in the center of everything! We walked to all the museums and most if the monuments (ran out of time 😢) means we get to come... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Harrington in mid-November. We liked it a lot. True, it is old, but that adds to it's charm. We were in a Queen room. It was small, but nice. There was a small fridge as well. The location was excellent. My husband and I walked everywhere, to the monuments, White House, and... More

We stayed in a room with a queen sized bed and two single beds. But the bathroom looks very dirty and the floor is very dusty, so everyone I step on it with my bare foot my feet will get all black! The telephone is also from the 1800s and there is no boiler. At least there is quite a... More

Hotel has a small fridge, kettle and coffee but not much else in terms of facilities. Breakfast is not included but Harry's downstairs is nice with okay pricing. Decent for a dinner though and plenty of options for meals. Hotel desk clerk lacked enthusiasm. You can reach all major sights from here by walking which is the biggest plus. CVS... More

This hotel is in an excellent location - the Whitehouse is within walking distance and the monuments are a bit further on from the Whitehouse. However, for the price we paid to stay here, we would have paid a little bit extra to stay somewhere much nicer. The hotel is run down, the rooms are small and mouldy, and the... More

Like many others here, i enjoyed my stay at the hotel with a group. It has been said here many times, and it is true, the location of this hotel is outstanding... Can't be beat... The atmosphere in the hotel is lively, due to the diner and bar on site for those looking to have a good time, yet relaxing... More

I was here for a school group trip and we stayed here for three nights. I thought the hotel was nice for its age and I liked the fact of how old it looked. The only problem that I had was that when I tryed to charge my phone the plugin sorta fell out of the wall. My group stayed... More

The Harrington is the longest continuously running hotel in DC. And it shows. The rooms, even the deluxe suite I was in, are old, rundown and a little mouldy. This say said, you don't stay here for the rooms. You stay here for the location. You are two blocks from The White House. You are a five minute walk from... More
