Stayed at this family run hotel that has been in the family for 5 generations. It was a little dated but had photos of all the presidents on the wall. The staff were friendly & it was lovely & clean. It was down the road from the whitehouse & the hop on hop off bus for all attractions. There is... More

I have no issue paying a reasonable price for a basic hotel which is well located. The Harrington fits the bill. Our room on the 9th floor was basic but was cojoined to the next. The kids slept in one room and M&D in the other. We had no problems with space with this set up. No issues with cleanliness,... More

This is a great location for tourism or business at a very competitive price. Unsurprisingly the service is not great, the rooms are wanting, and the hotel seems dirty. The biggest problem I had, however, was poor internet. i was forced to work in the hotel lobby because the internet in the rooms did not work - which went on... More

The Hotel Harrington isn't really pretending to be anything it isn't, to be fair to them. They are ideally located a short walk from most of DC's attractions, handy for the metro to get in to DC, and there are plenty of eateries around and about. It offers decent, clean, budget accommodation for those who can't afford to splash the... More

Just a reminder that this is a tourist hotel in downtown DC. It is 100 years old and that is part of its charm. It is close to the White House, Smithsonian museums, and the Metro so it is very convenient. It lacks many of the conveniences of a more modern hotel. The furnishings, plumbing and HVAC are old and... More

I found that the location was great. It's very close to the Metro and to the National Mall, Museums, White House, and other popular locations. I found the bathroom to be a bit cramped and the fact that I couldn't control the air in the room made it a bit annoying to have to call down to the desk for... More

We stayed in the family room which was perfectly adequate, we had a double room and twin bed room with en suite. The location was excellent as we were only minutes away from the White House, The Mall and other landmarks. Being in the Federal Triangle it was nicely quiet in the evening. As well as the hotel restaurants to... More

We stop there with my travel group, and we share a room for four, and it was great. We had 2 baht room with toilet, and it was not to Noisy. It's a simple hotel, not very Young but well if you go to Washington it's not for staying in your bed room anyway! The location is just perfect. few... More

This was a short stay for us and so we looked for the most central and cheaply priced accommodation available. This was what we found. This hotel lived up to the first part of that equation perfectly. It is like two blocks away from the White House, not too far from the National Mall and all its memorials. The downside... More
