We just came back from a 5 night stay at the Grand Hyatt for spring break. The location was perfect - walking distance to the mall and access to the metro line right through the hotel. Couldn't have been better for sightseeing! The hotel was lovely and the staff was very friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean, although a... More

Fantastic hotel, great staff, nice clean room. People could not have been nicer at this hotel. You are close to the rail system. Restaurants in the hotel are good. Close to the mall area and Chinatown - and within in walking distance of all the smithsonian museums

The location is excellent. We were able to walk to the Mall, to Chinatown, etc. The hotel itself also has an entrance to the Metro, so we didn't have to walk far at all. The lobby of the hotel was very nice and looked ritzy. The staff were very helpful. My wife forgot her phone charger, and they delivered one... More

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt Washington in April 2014 with some friends. The hotel itself is very well located, with the metro tech station one block away, and within walking distance to the tourist attractions. Was able to check in early at 11am and got a room facing the atrium. The room itself was clean and pretty spacious. It was... More

A friend and I took our kids for Spring Break this week. We requested rooms close to one another, and she requested a 'pure' room. The rooms were close together, but her 'pure' room was not available. Additionally, her room only had one bed despite her online reservation clearly reserving two beds. Rather than moving to another floor four below... More

I am staying here currently. We selected this hotel for location based on what we wanted to do this weekend (Easter). The visit started out on a high note, the hotel had complimentary sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room within minutes of our arrival as they knew we were celebrating our anniversary. This was much appreciated... More

Located within walking distance of majority of the major attractions that DC has to offer. Concierge was helpful in arranging a night time guided tour which was unforgettable. Rooms are amazing as are the beds and the service. Was allowed to check in early which helped me tremendously upon arrival. Great souvenir shop on the premises. Great stay

We spent six wonderful days at the Hyatt in Washington DC. The staff was very nice and the rooms were well maintained and clean. Natalie was very friendly and welcoming to all guests. The gift shops offered many options and the prices were reasonable. You could access the metro without leaving the building, by walking down a short hallway and... More

Stayed 3 nights, 4/13-16, 2014, room was ready even though we arrived about two hours early. Took inside room. If you sit by window, you can grab the lobby WiFi and not pay the outrageous 10.99 a day on top of the $34 to park and the approximately $250 a night room charge. Tried the chicken fingers at the sports... More

Great location! Perfect Service! Hyatt at its Best! Hence the "Grand" in front of the name. I always book directly with the hotel but in this case the hotel was booked for the days I wanted to travel, so I took a chance on once of those third party deals. Usually, you hear about getting a bad room. My room... More
