We lived on the Metro during our four day visit, so being a block from the Foggy Bottom/GWU Metro stop was a huge bonus. Right in GWU, so easy to walk all over, we never use the subway, is a long walk but you could go to all the sightseeing from here. Big rooms with kitchenette, quiet small hotel, the restaurant doesn´t look good but the food is good, however if you can, go to another restaurant. more

My husband and I were in DC for a few days of sightseeing and wanted a comfortable hotel near the metro for a reasonable price. We found it at the GWU Inn. We - parents and 16 year old son - stayed here for three nights. The accomodation was spacious and clean. The kitchen area was well equipped and just right for making breakfast. The staff were polite and helpful. All this and a location which is ideal for sight seeing and using public transport. We would stay here again without hesitation. more
