Each staff member gave me sincere courtesy and attention! The General Manager even walked around and spoke to guests, which I've never seen at any other hotel. The breakfast staff were very cheery, and came to know my favorite cooked-to-order omelette! I like the location - quiet, yet close enough to walk to Dupont Circle or to the metro.

I enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and check in and out was easy and quick. Our room wouldn't stay cool at night not matter how low we turned the a/c. The breakfast buffet was the same everyday. The chef overcooked the fried eggs until they were crisp and rubbery and the omelets were... More

Not the usual Embassy Suite experience, noise, food subpar, weird smell in the pool, I would just try another hotel. It started great fast check in. Dropped the family off paid for parking somewhere else 42 dollars is too much I used parking panda and got a good deal, it was cheaper to park at the Ritz Carlton down the... More

Stayed two nights with kids for a short DC visit. The sofa beds are possibly the most uncomfortable I've encountered. Another shortcoming is the breakfast buffet is far too slow and understaffed with long lines and big crowds. The location is very good and we enjoyed the neighborhood and walk to the Metro. This is a good hotel for a... More

Stayed here for two nights. Very peaceful neighbourhood, so you get a good night sleep. Also, if you are Gold or Diamond member and get upgraded into 7th floor (Premium floor), you have access to snack-box, which gives you free non-alcoholic drinks, fruits and snacks. Wi-Fi is free for Golds and Diamonds, and quite fast. But evening managers reception and... More

This was our first visit to D.C. and I didn't know where to stay. The Embassy Suites did not disappoint! It was a short walking distance to the subway and in a great neighborhood. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was great every morning. In the evenings, after sightseeing, we came back to the hotel for the evening refreshments... More

Not a good place to stay if you have a large vehicle or take a family to. Beds are very uncomfortable!!! The pool has tooo much chlorine in it. Eyes burn really bad!!! The garage is very low. We had to go into the exit first. The pull out sofa was very old and sunken in. The location is not... More

Great hotel! The breakfast was really good (some long lines for the custom food) and the evening reception is an added bonus. Can't go wrong. Staff is awesome and the rooms are very clean and make a pleasant stay. Atmosphere helps. Only downside is that the parking is expensive in the hotel and limited spots and it's not that close... We stayed for five nights at the hotel. The suite was more than adequate, breakfast food was very plentiful and had everything most people could think they would want. Overall, this hotel has a very competent and extremely hardworking staff. I would choose this hotel again without hesitation.
