This hotel is part of a small up-scale mall complex. It has everything you expect from Embassy Suites... great breakfast, large rooms with a fridge and microwave, and a nightly reception. The best part of this hotel is that it's connected to the mall across the street and to the fabulous Metro subway system via underground passage ways so you... More

My family and I stayed there for two nights. Location is very good and convenient. The rooms feel stale and soft goods could be upgraded. The hotel looks as if they are skimping on dollars and I would wach this to see if it gets attention soon. There were times when the staff was very good and then times when... More

Our family stayed here for a few nights in early September, which was a perfect time to visit: the museums were uncrowded because it was the first week of school for most schools (but not ours.) The hotel breakfast was excellent with lots of hot and cold options, and we also took advantage of the free snacks and drinks at... More

Pros: Clean, friendly and helpful staff, free breakfast, subway station in building, Cheescake factory and other shops and restauarants in building Cons: had to wait a really long time for hotel elevator at times, breakast selection was limited, parking was vey expensive. I stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend while sightseeing in DC. This was a very nice... More

This hotel was a great stay for our family. The location was fantastic, parking convenient, shopping and attached restaurants an added bonus. The housekeeping was particularly good here. We hopped on the train at the attached station and got everywhere we needed to go with no problems whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again More

Dear TeachKidz25, Thank you very much for your review and i am glad to hear that you had an overall good experience with our property. I want also to apologize if the quality of our breakfast was not to the level of your expectation. I personally view our breakfast as a key point of differentiation among the many competitors in... This is the second time that I've stayed at this location, and I have to say that it is one of my favourite hotels in the US. As others have mentioned, the convenience of the metro being located directly underneath and the breakfast and evening receptions make it a top choice for me. In addition to that, the staff is... The Embassy Suites Chevy Chase Pavillion was a logical choice for my family's Christmas get together. Unfortunately we were awoken at 2 AM by bed bugs on the day after Christmas. Initially the person attending the desk behaved as though bed bugs were an impossibility and we were asked "What do we want to do". Here it was 2 AM... More

The free breakfast is still one of their best selling features. Breakfast at a reasonable price in Washington can be hard to come by, and Embassy Suites helps you get started with hot food and hot coffee. One of the big advantages of this hotel is that you can walk down to the Metro (the "Friendship Heights" stop on the... More

Every employee we encountered at Embassy Suites was extremely friendly. The check in process went very smoothly. The staff was able to offer great suggestions for restaurants and activities based on our needs (girl's getaway). We were all very impressed. Housekeeping was thorough and very honest...we left tips out each day but they didn't take them. I hope they share... More
