1 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Purchased a package for 2 nights over Groupon. It was advertised as $89.00 for a queen/king room. When finalizing the purchase, the total came to $310. Hardly the 89.00 advertised. The room was a small queen room. No complimentary breakfast as shown on the hotel site. Hotel was undergoing extensive renovations, which made elevator movement slow at best. Check in... More

Newly renovated (Still under construction). The newly renovated rooms are lovely! Very modern! As soon as I walked in the lobby some one came immediately to grab my bags for me. Very attentive! I would highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to see the finish renovations!

I had a bad feeling upon check-in that my experience would be horrible and it truly came to pass. It took three employees to find my reservation and only then after I provided my confirmation number. The room was small but would have sufficed had the noise level and smell been better. I found the bed and pillows comfortable but... More

I really liked the hotel space: the room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the view was lovely. Also, the location is great. But the noise level was terrible. The walls are super thin so I could hear the person in the room next-door coughing. And in the morning, cleaning service was in the hall making a ton of... More

The Embassy Row hotel near Dupont circle is the best location for your DC travel. Hotel serves complimentary breakfast every morning and is near many restaurants and a block from the metro. The rooms are average in size and quiet at night. if you have time you can catch the city bus out front and check out the national cathedral.... More

This was my first time at this hotel. I just came at the wrong time. They are doing major remodeling in and outside of the hotel. Restaurant was closed, moving in and out of old furniture held up the escalators. TV was nocked out for most of the day. My first room was one of the remolded rooms which was... More

I think this hotel will be a great once the renovations have been completed. However, I don't think the hotel should be operational whilst the building work is so extensive. There was no front door to enter and exit so had to use the side door. The lobby is completly non existent except for a desk to check in/out. We... More

Be aware parking is $54 per day. No room service or in house restaurant. Under major construction since October. Paint smell and water shut off on two days. Had no idea before booking. Booked through RCI who said they also had no idea??? They should read trip advisor reviews!!! Very dissatisfied

This hotel is and always will be well situated for the business or vacation traveler. Extremely easy metro access, good restaurants etc. Right now, as you have undeniably already read, the hotel is under construction. And not just a little construction but a hot mess. Undergoing a MAYOR RENOVATION, dust everywhere, smell to chemistry from the construction products. I got sinusitis and had to cancel my reservation due to the congestion I got on my nose, I am still sick .
