Folks, please do me a favour, STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL!!! First of all when we arrived we were landed with a construction site without warning.. The woman at reception to check us in was very rude and it took us 30 minutes to get checked in. The car park fees are a joke $45 per day and $10 for... More

I could not believe just how run down this hotel was. Perhaps it was just room 502. Maybe other rooms are that awful. Smells of mildew. Old style TV. Dirty upholstered chair. Broken safe (drilled out lock). Light switches and fixtures like your grandmothers house. Scratched furniture. Decent bedding but that was the only bright spot. Definite two star hotel.

This hotel does NOT make you aware of its fees until you check in. You are charged a fee of $9.95 on a daily basis supposedly as a wireless access fee. This is regardless of whether you ue the facility or not!

Hotel is under construction. You have obligatory wakeup call done by hammers. No lobby, dirt everywhere. Room small and old, smelly. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Hotel manager was too busy to talk to me. Waiting time at the front desk was very long.

The entire hotel is a total mess. No lobby, no amenities besides your room. The worst is the desk service. It will take you at least 25 min to check in and more to checkout - if nobody is in line in front of you. Also, hope it is not cold when you visit. The windows are drafty as all... More

It is cheap-- but you get what you pay for. The rooms are very old. However, there is a lovely roof top. Renovations are necessary. Staff/service was good. Location close to the DuPont metro stop. Would not stay here again.

This hotel had average rooms. Slightly below the quality of similarly priced rooms in the area. We called ahead to confirm we could have a roll-away bed in the room. However when we arrived we were told they were all in use and there were no alternative solutions. We requested extra pillows and blankets to squeeze people into the bed.... More

The Embassy Row Hotel (formerly Embassy Row Hilton) is under new management and is currently being renovated. The hotel is in a perfect location at 2015 Mass. Ave. just around the corner from DuPont Circle. This used to be my favorite hotel in DC. The hotel is still just fine, but the entire lobby floor is currently being renovated, so... More

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. We paid for this ahead of time and then we were hit up for an extra 9.95 a day for amenities. They are in the middle of a renovation which meant the pool and bar was closed. The breakfast that was advertised on their TV was not available. The only... More
